The Law Office of Heidi J Meyers is a full-service immigration law firm, established in 1997. In addition to H-1B petitions and employment-based immigration, our office offers a wide array of immigration services, including: E-1 (treaty traders), E-2 (treaty investors), L-1A (managerial and executive transferees) and L-1B (specialized knowledge workers), cap-exempt H-1Bs to work at non-profit universities or their affiliates, family petitions, marriage petitions, F-1 (student visas), change of status for diplomats, PERM labor certification, National Interest Waivers, O-1 aliens of extraordinary ability, naturalization, asylum, deportation and removal proceedings, waivers, and DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals).

We love helping immigrants! Immigrants are a great benefit to the United States.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

Ms. Meyers earned her J.D. from New York University School of Law, her M.A. in International Relations from New York University, and her B.A. in Government from Cornell University. She has been practicing immigration law since January 1995, for more than 22 years, and she has had her own practice since January 1997, for more than 20 years. She was the immigration counsel for Visionet Systems and its affiliates in Pakistan and India for 18 years, from 1998 to 2016, and handled all the company's H-1Bs, L-1As, L-1Bs, PERM labor certifications and green card applications. Over decades, she has gained extensive experience in all areas of US immigration law, and can handle enforcement and litigation as well as business immigration issues.
She is admitted in New York State, the Eastern District of New York, the Southern District of New York, the Third Circuit and the Second Circuit.
