We live in a fallen world where life isn't always easy. In fact, somteimes, it is downright horrible. Divorce. Crime. Financial Problems. Civil Suits. Death.
Divorce rates vary but statistically hover between 40-50% of all first marriages. Additional statistics push secondary marriage divorces as high as 60%. In 2004, more than 1.5 million bankruptcy cases were filed according to the U.S. Courts Bankruptcy Statistics.
Legal professionals are often called to act as mediators, counselors and advisors when life goes awry. A little preparation, however, can go a long way to preventing a difficult situation from becoming devastating. Whether you are reacting to a current crisis or planning for a future uncertain, KNOWLEDGE is key.
It is my mission to guide and support people through what are often complex, difficult and emotional situations. It is during these times particularly that people need a trusted advisor... advocate... representative.
As a solo practioner - unlike large firms that apply a 'cookie cutter' approach - I offer individualized attention and personalized service. this increased flexibility alleviates the stress of these difficult situations and maximizes the outcome for all parties.
If you have a client, patient or friend to whom I may be of some assistance, please refer them to me for a free consultation. We can't stop the many unexpected events that can happen in life but preparation can determine how well we respond.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
I have always been a people person. I've spent my life trying to help people through difficult times. There are no more difficult times than financial or emotional turmoil that has resulted from a job loss, divorce, or medical emergency. It is during these difficult times that people really need someone of strength and character to steer them to the otherside of their problems. Someone to stand in the gap and help them over the pitfall. I enjoy being that person.
What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others
