Don Vigil has practiced law in New Mexico since October, 1978. In 1985, his practice became Donald D. Vigil, P.C. He is licensed to practice law before all District Courts in New Mexico, including State District Court, and Federal District Court, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, the New Mexico Workers Compensation Administration and the Social Security Office of Disability Adjudication and Review. During thirty three years in practice he has represented the injured and disabled of New Mexico, only representing plaintiffs and claimants. His practice includes:

Personal Injury claims for injuries resulting from traffic accidents, including motorcycle, automobile and trucking accidents, claims resulting from uninsured drivers, drunk drivers, and premises liability accidents such as trip and falls in commercial and residential locations or construction related accidents. Fees for representation on these cases is contingent on the outcome of the case.

Workers Compensation Claims resulting from work accidents or incidents. We regularly represent injured workers in obtaining temporary and permanent disability payments as well as medical benefits. Fees for representation on these claims is contingent on the outcome of the case and the time, effort and expertise involved in a case.

Donald D. Vigil

Don Vigil was born and raised in Roswell, New Mexico. A graduate of Roswell High School in 1970, he attended the University of New Mexico in 1974, and the University of New Mexico Law School in 1978. He has been married since 1977, has two grown children and a granddaughter. Outside of the office, he enjoys family activities, traveling, fly-fishing, painting, and snow skiing. He is a life-long New Mexican and bilingual. Don Vigil was awarded the Margaret Daily Keiper Award in Law in 1978 upon his graduation from the University of New Mexico School of Law in recognition of awareness of social problems, concern for people in trouble, dedication to the professional responsibility to provide justice for all.
