Here's a summary of our approach to the practice of law ...

The foundation of your life is your FAMILY, FRIENDS, FAITH, and HEALTH.

On that foundation rests a three-legged stool that support all of the material wealth, hopes, dreams, and joys of your life.

Sometimes, one or more of the legs of that stool will get wobbly. Some people can mend the legs themselves. Others need to hire a carpenter.

That's where Attorney Worhatch comes in. Think of each leg of your stool as representing an important support element of your life: SHELTER; CAREER; and EDUCATION.

Attorney Worhatch focuses on the SHELTER and CAREER legs.

We pledge to handle your case as efficiently as possible by delivering the kind of service you might expect from a "big" law firm ... but at a fraction of the price you'd probably spend downtown.

Attorney Worhatch's hourly rate is BELOW the "market" rate for attorneys in the Cleveland and Akron areas who offer comparable experience and tenure in practice. And with Attorney Worhatch, you'll never wonder whether your case will be shuttled off to a "junior" associate fresh out of law school. Attorney Worhatch handles each of his cases himself, meaning that you can count on benefiting from his years of experience and his knowledge in a wide variety of areas of the law.

Call 330-650-6000 (Akron and Kent) or 330-656-2300 (Cleveland Toll-Free) to learn more about how you could put Attorney Worhatch's experience and expertise to work for you in your job-related circumstances.

Mr. Worhatch's websites are FULL of useful information for individuals considering the need to take action in protection of their careers or to seek redress for violations of the rights of employees. S. David Worhatch

Upon graduating from the Notre Dame Law School in South Bend, Indiana, in 1979, Attorney Worhatch entered private practice after serving as a law clerk to a federal judge.

In 1982, Attorney Worhatch was hired as the first-ever attorney on the staff of a $600 million company in the Cleveland area and directed all of the litigation services for a wide variety of cases, including employment-related disputes, real estate matters, general corporate matters, and commercial transactions.

While in Corporate America, Attorney Worhatch learned that in addressing disputes arising in the employment setting, it generally is far better for all concerned if every reasonable effort is made to resolve such disputes through negotiation and compromise than to leave either party with no alternative but to resort to the more inconvenient, uncertain, and costly process of taking the issue to court.

Attorney Worhatch applies this philosophy to every case he handles. While he does not back down from a court battle, he tries his best to resolve disputes through competent negotiation of settlement terms that will serve his client's interests and allow the parties to reconcile and move past their differences.

After all, that's what a lawyer does best ... he or she facilitates the healing of human conflict ... in much the same way a doctor heals human ailments and a minister heals the soul.

Attorney Worhatch left Corporate America in 1989 to form his own law firm dedicated to wealth creation, protection, and management.

The largest single asset that any individual has before retirement years is his or her FUTURE EARNING POTENTIAL. That's what the Law Offices of S. David Worhatch protects for its clients.

Attorney Worhatch is very active in his community, has held local political office, has been very active in professional associations (he is the former Chair of the Litigation Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, for example), and spends some of his "free" time singing as a member of the Baritone Section of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus.
