Experience and Success with 1000's of Traffic Tickets by Attorney David Dastrup.
We only do traffic tickets, traffic misdemeanors, and misdemeanors in the Superior Courts of California in Los Angeles and Orange Counties - a sharp, focus on the legal representation for our clients.

We understand our clients' DMV and insurance concerns, and how the law applies on traffic and misdemeanor cases. Our goal is always to get the best resolution for our clients, to protect their concerns, whether to keep a clean record or to restore their driving privileges.

Traffic court involves infractions, including red light, speeding, sign/signal, stop sign, insurance, registration, failure to appear, etc.

Criminal court involves misdemeanors, including DUIs, warrants, probation violations, driving on a suspended license, driving without a license, various alcohol and marijuana charges, petty theft, prostitution, burglary, deadly weapon, fraud, interfering with a police investigation, etc.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Law is a serving profession, for the people, for the client, for the party represented. Thus, an attorney is in the service of the client and must always put the the client's interests first while upholding the integrity of the practice.

We get that, that the client comes first.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

We always want our client's to make informed decisions. This requires communication with our clients, informing them every step of the way about their case and their options.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

We do pro bono work in the community at large by giving free legal advice to persons who wish to represent themselves. We find great satisfaction in knowing that there are others out there who wish to fight to keep the Constitution of this great Nation alive by asserting their rights.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

Our attorney must approach the opposition, specifically the prosecution, with respect and admiration for the work they do and their noble goals, while simultaneously zealously representing our clients. When the prosecution realizes that our attorney sees and values all things involved, and truly cares about all persons involved, that breaks down walls and allows negotiations for the best results for our clients. The individual represented by us comes first and foremost, especially when it comes to getting the best results for that individual client.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

Our attorney keeps the client's costs down by having a successful business plan that eliminates unnecessary overhead and keeps the focus on the client's goal, defending the client. Because we have relatively little overhead, we can put all of our resources and the client's resources, i.e., costs, directly into defense on the case.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

Attending a top tier law school, Pepperdine, and receiving formal training in negotiation from the #1 ranked program (according to U.S. News & World Report), Straus Institute, is the kind of education that distinguishes a lawyer. The proper education followed by extensive experience in the area of law a client is being represented in (traffic matters), gives the client the advantage because the attorney is well versed and capable of providing top legal representation.
