FREE CONSULTATIONS FOR WORKERS COMP MATTERS

Even if your medical bills have been paid and the insurance company seems to be treating you fairly, its is wise to seek free legal advice from an attorney regarding your injury. You may not be fully aware of what the law requires your employer to do if you are hurt on the job, or what benefits to which you may be entitled. Quite often the insurance company does not tell you, you have a limited time to file a claim in order to protect your rights under the law. DO NOT rely on the adjuster or the insurance carrier to "do the right thing." I can assist you in successfully maneuvering through the complex bureaucratic process of filing a claim with the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission. If you are injured or become ill at your workplace or a work-related activity, call me for a consultation at no cost to you. That's right, FREE. I can help. You may be entitled to benefits even in the absence of your employer's fault or negligence.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I worked in manufacturing during college and before attending law school and have seen serious injuries. I saw first hand the damage that is caused to families and individuals due to work injures, medical bills and lost wages. I am very fortunate to be able to practice law in a way that allows me to help everyday people with very serious problems. I enjoy making insurance companies do the right thing. It is challenging, but very rewarding.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

My prior work and life experience. In addition to my prior "blue collar" life, I worked as a defense lawyer in the office of the public defender. I have represented individuals upon very serious criminal charges, including murder, all the way through trial. I have always enjoyed fighting on behalf of regular people and the less fortunate. I fully understand that I am very fortunate to be allowed to practice law and that what I do has a direct impact on the lives of real people. Life is short, make it count. To whom much is given, much is expected.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Small, specialized, individual representation with a personal touch. Unlike many other firms, my clients get to spend time with me helping me to understand their issues and prepare their case. I am available for my clients.
