How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Criminal law is the focus of my practice. Everyday, thousands of people in the State of California are wrongfully accused. Others face exaggerated charges. Still others are sentenced to punishments that go too far.

In my practice, I fight to ensure that every client gets the best outcome they can. The vast majority of cases can be settled for far less than what the original charge is, even if the evidence is overwhelming. Often, the evidence obtained by police was obtained illegally.

As a defense attorney, it is my job to fight hard to ensure that cops play by the book, that defendants are treated fairly, and that bad cases get thrown out.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

I have years of experience as a former prosecutor. I know the D.A.'s playbook.

I am a U.S. Navy combat veteran. I am not afraid to confront to D.A., police, or hostile witnesses who stand in the way of my clients' freedom.

I have a great deal of specialized training in criminal law for everything from DUIs to death penalty cases.

I have handled over 2,000 criminal cases in my career.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Thinking outside the box to find better solutions to criminal cases. Instead of doing it like other attorneys who get mediocre results, I bring original thinking and better strategies to get the very best possible result.
