Casey Lott

In May 2002, Casey received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University where he graduated cum laude.

In December 2004, Casey received his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, with honors.

After passing the February 2005 Mississippi Bar Exam, Casey began practicing law with his father, Duncan Lott. He was admitted to Practice in the State and Federal Courts of Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2005. He was also admitted to practice in Alabama in 2006.

During his tenure at Ole Miss, Casey was elected Vice resident of the Ole Miss student chapter of the Mississippi Association for Justice in 2002 and 2003 and was elected President in 2004. He was a member of the law school's Moot Court Board in 2003 and 2004. He placed in the top four in both the 2003 Moot Court Board Appellate Advocacy Competition and in the 2004 Stein Reynolds Dalephite Trial Advocacy Competition. He was also one of three students selected to represent Ole Miss in the 2003 National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2004, he received the Francis S. Bowling Scholarship in Law which is rewarded annually a student who has excelled academically and has demonstrated leadership ability and trial advocacy skills.

Since entering the practice of law, Casey has secured multi-million dollar awards on behalf of his clients and has been actively involved in trial litigation involving personal injury including products liability, pharmaceutical litigation, medical malpractice, and automobile accident cases. Casey has also been actively involved in Multi-District Litigation and was even awarded a spot on the Discovery Committee in the Bausch & Lomb ReNu with Moisture Loc MDL. Casey was appointed Chairman of the Subscribers' Track State Liason Committee in the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Antitrust MDL in Birmingham, Alabama. Casey is actively involved in felony criminal defense as well. He also serves as the attorney for the Booneville School District.

Casey is now an active member of the American Association for Justice and the Mississippi Association for Justice (MAJ). In 2005, he was elected to serve on the MAJ Board of Governors. Casey was later named Young Lawyer of the Year for 2005-2006 by the Mississippi Association for Justice. Casey Lott

In May 2002, Casey received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University where he graduated cum laude.

Duncan Lott

He has also been involved in divorce/child custody litigation and felony criminal defense.

Thomas Cooley

In 2005, Thomas graduated from the University of West Alabama with a bachelor's degree in English as an Honor's Scholar. Thomas entered the work force after college, holding management positions in two different businesses before ultimately deciding to pursue a legal career.

In 2011, Thomas received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude. While there, he served as the Executive Editor of the Law Review, a Member and Competitor for the Moot Court Program, Secretary for the Public Interest Law Group and as a Pupil Member of the American Inns of Court. As a part of the Moot Court Program, Thomas was the Overall Winner of the Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush Moot Court Competition, a National Quarterfinalist in the Rendigs Products Liability Moot Court Competition, a Quarterfinalist in the Mississippi College School of Law Top Gun Trial Competition. Thomas also received several other awards during law school including: Best Paper, Legal Research Fall 2008 and Spring 2009; two-time recipient of the annual Frisby Griffing Marble Scholarship; and two-time recipient of the annual Mississippi College School of Law Merit Scholarship.

After passing the July 2011 Mississippi Bar Exam, Thomas was admitted to practice in Mississippi and began working for Justice Randy G. Pierce of the Mississippi Supreme Court as a law clerk, gaining experience in a diverse range of Mississippi legal issues. While working with Justice Pierce, Thomas returned to his alma mater to serve as an adjunct professor for the Appellate Advocacy Program in 2011 and an adjunct professor for the Legal Writing Program in 2012.

Thomas passed the July 2012 Alabama Bar Exam and has been admitted to practice there as well. Since joining Langston & Lott, Thomas has been active in civil and criminal litigation.

Dustin Childers

A 2004 Hall of Fame graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College, Dustin went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2006.

In 2010, Dustin received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law.

After passing the Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Exams, Dustin began practicing law in Jackson, Mississippi after externing with Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Randy Pierce. He was admitted to Practice in all State and Federal Courts of Mississippi and Tennessee and in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2011.

During his tenure at Mississippi College, Dustin was elected Senator of the Student Body Association each year of his education. He was also appointed as the Student-Alumni Chairman by the President of the Law Student Body Association. Dustin received the American Jurisprudence Award in Counseling and Negotiations and awards for his submission to the Nathan Burkan Writing Competition.

Since entering the practice of law, Dustin has been actively involved in trial litigation involving personal injury, copyrights, intellectual property, and has most recently been involved in the Multi-District Litigation relating to the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Litigation against British Petroleum. Dustin has been working with commercial fishermen of the Gulf Coast in recovering their losses resulting from the spill.

A May 2012 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College, and native of Prentiss County, Jessa Kate Christian, "Katie," received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University in May of 2014.

In May of 2017, Katie received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law. After passing the July 2017 Mississippi Bar Exam, Katie was admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts of Mississippi and in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

During her tenure at Mississippi College School of Law, Katie was elected Casenote/Comment Editor of the Law Review, served as a Dean's Ambassador for the Administration Office, and volunteered at Mission First Legal Aid. As well as being a full-time student and active participant in various school organizations, Katie also worked two years as a part time Law Clerk for a plaintiff's firm in Jackson, Mississippi gaining invaluable, practical experience in the legal field.

In April of 2016, Katie received the Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Law Review Publication Award for her article, "It's Not My Fault: Inequality Between Posthumously Conceived Children and Why Limiting the Degree of Benefits to Innocent Babies is a "No-No" 36 Miss. C. L. Rev. 1, 194 (2017). She also received the Best Paper Award in Legal Writing II and a scholarship for participating in the 2016 Evelyn Gandy Lecture series.

Casey Lott

In May 2002, Casey received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University where he graduated cum laude.

In December 2004, Casey received his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law, with honors.

After passing the February 2005 Mississippi Bar Exam, Casey began practicing law with his father, Duncan Lott. He was admitted to Practice in the State and Federal Courts of Mississippi and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2005. He was also admitted to practice in Alabama in 2006.

During his tenure at Ole Miss, Casey was elected Vice resident of the Ole Miss student chapter of the Mississippi Association for Justice in 2002 and 2003 and was elected President in 2004. He was a member of the law school's Moot Court Board in 2003 and 2004. He placed in the top four in both the 2003 Moot Court Board Appellate Advocacy Competition and in the 2004 Stein Reynolds Dalephite Trial Advocacy Competition. He was also one of three students selected to represent Ole Miss in the 2003 National Appellate Advocacy Competition in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2004, he received the Francis S. Bowling Scholarship in Law which is rewarded annually a student who has excelled academically and has demonstrated leadership ability and trial advocacy skills.

Since entering the practice of law, Casey has secured multi-million dollar awards on behalf of his clients and has been actively involved in trial litigation involving personal injury including products liability, pharmaceutical litigation, medical malpractice, and automobile accident cases. Casey has also been actively involved in Multi-District Litigation and was even awarded a spot on the Discovery Committee in the Bausch & Lomb ReNu with Moisture Loc MDL. Casey was appointed Chairman of the Subscribers' Track State Liason Committee in the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Antitrust MDL in Birmingham, Alabama. Casey is actively involved in felony criminal defense as well. He also serves as the attorney for the Booneville School District.

Casey is now an active member of the American Association for Justice and the Mississippi Association for Justice (MAJ). In 2005, he was elected to serve on the MAJ Board of Governors. Casey was later named Young Lawyer of the Year for 2005-2006 by the Mississippi Association for Justice. In 2011, Casey was named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list as one of the top attorneys in Mississippi (no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to the list). In 2012, Casey was named one of Mississippi's Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association and received the Leadership in Law award from the Mississippi Business Journal. Casey Lott

Duncan Lott

Duncan Lott

Thomas Cooley

In 2005, Thomas graduated from the University of West Alabama with a bachelor's degree in English as an Honor's Scholar. Thomas entered the work force after college, holding management positions in two different businesses before ultimately deciding to pursue a legal career.

In 2011, Thomas received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law where he graduated magna cum laude. While there, he served as the Executive Editor of the Law Review, a Member and Competitor for the Moot Court Program, Secretary for the Public Interest Law Group and as a Pupil Member of the American Inns of Court. As a part of the Moot Court Program, Thomas was the Overall Winner of the Copeland, Cook, Taylor & Bush Moot Court Competition, a National Quarterfinalist in the Rendigs Products Liability Moot Court Competition, a Quarterfinalist in the Mississippi College School of Law Top Gun Trial Competition. Thomas also received several other awards during law school including: Best Paper, Legal Research Fall 2008 and Spring 2009; two-time recipient of the annual Frisby Griffing Marble Scholarship; and two-time recipient of the annual Mississippi College School of Law Merit Scholarship.

After passing the July 2011 Mississippi Bar Exam, Thomas was admitted to practice in Mississippi and began working for Justice Randy G. Pierce of the Mississippi Supreme Court as a law clerk, gaining experience in a diverse range of Mississippi legal issues. While working with Justice Pierce, Thomas returned to his alma mater to serve as an adjunct professor for the Appellate Advocacy Program in 2011 and an adjunct professor for the Legal Writing Program in 2012.

Thomas passed the July 2012 Alabama Bar Exam and has been admitted to practice there as well. Since joining Langston & Lott, Thomas has been active in civil and criminal litigation.

Dustin Childers

A 2004 Hall of Fame graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College, Dustin went on to receive his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Mississippi in 2006.

In 2010, Dustin received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law.

After passing the Mississippi and Tennessee Bar Exams, Dustin began practicing law in Jackson, Mississippi after externing with Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Randy Pierce. He was admitted to Practice in all State and Federal Courts of Mississippi and Tennessee and in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2011.

During his tenure at Mississippi College, Dustin was elected Senator of the Student Body Association each year of his education. He was also appointed as the Student-Alumni Chairman by the President of the Law Student Body Association. Dustin received the American Jurisprudence Award in Counseling and Negotiations and awards for his submission to the Nathan Burkan Writing Competition.

Since entering the practice of law, Dustin has been actively involved in trial litigation involving personal injury, copyrights, intellectual property, and has most recently been involved in the Multi-District Litigation relating to the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill Litigation against British Petroleum. Dustin has been working with commercial fishermen of the Gulf Coast in recovering their losses resulting from the spill.

Jessa Kate Christian

A May 2012 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College, and native of Prentiss County, Jessa Kate Christian, "Katie," received her bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University in May of 2014.

In May of 2017, Katie received her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law. After passing the July 2017 Mississippi Bar Exam, Katie was admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts of Mississippi and in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

During her tenure at Mississippi College School of Law, Katie was elected Casenote/Comment Editor of the Law Review, served as a Dean's Ambassador for the Administration Office, and volunteered at Mission First Legal Aid. As well as being a full-time student and active participant in various school organizations, Katie also worked two years as a part time Law Clerk for a plaintiff's firm in Jackson, Mississippi gaining invaluable, practical experience in the legal field.

In April of 2016, Katie received the Bradley Arant Boult Cummings Law Review Publication Award for her article, "It's Not My Fault: Inequality Between Posthumously Conceived Children and Why Limiting the Degree of Benefits to Innocent Babies is a "No-No" 36 Miss. C. L. Rev. 1, 194 (2017). She also received the Best Paper Award in Legal Writing II and a scholarship for participating in the 2016 Evelyn Gandy Lecture series.

Since joining Langston & Lott in September of 2017, Katie has been active in civil litigation. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Mississippi Bar Association, Mississippi Young Lawyers Division, and Mississippi Women Lawyers Association.
