What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

Our founder Jeff Kurzon studied both common law (the system we have in the United States) and civil law (the system of law in continental European nations). Prior to founding the firm, he worked for six year for one of the largest international firms in the world handling complex transactions. He is committed to professionally representing the best interests of his clients.

Leonard Kohen has worked for two boutiquelaw firms before joining Kurzon and has extensive experience handling commercial litigation matters to successful resolution for both plaintiffs and defendants in the New York courts. Leonard also has extensive experience helping employees and employers resolve disputes in the workplace, including wrongful termination and discrimination claims. He enjoys running, yoga and helping people.

Corporate attorneys and commercial litigators in NYC at Kurzon Kohen LLP have had international experiences (both academic and professional), that make us well qualified to advise non-US companies on doing business in the United States. We have attorneys who are licensed to practice in New York and Massachusetts, as well as many federal courts. We are proud to represent New Yorkers, those outside New York in the United States and clients from around the world. Please let us know if you think we may be able to help you achieve your business goals, whether they are corporate or litigation based.
