Yes, for as long as it takes to understand the client's needs.
We service our clients on a contingent fee basis. Unless we are able to successfully recover damages on their behalf, our clients do not have to pay a dime for having been represented by us.

Sherry Black is the firm office manager. Kristina McDonald is my assistant.
In the initial case review, we can discuss the case in specifics with the client and determine how our firm will best be able to help. If that means that we take on part of the case but not its entirety, we will certainly be open to discussing the possibility.
Our firm operates in a team atmosphere and we are not against dividing work if it is what's best for the current case. A typical case will have at least two lawyers and two paralegals. We create personal strategies on a case-by-case basis to deliver optimum results to our clients. Our team is composed of highly knowledgeable and proficient attorneys - regardless of who handles your case, you can trust that it will be dealt with professionally and effectively.
When we take on a case, we never turn down an option. In many cases, we find that we do not need to turn towards mediation, arbitration or collaborative law, but if that is what is required or what will work best for any given case, we will always consider these options to be viable.
I strongly believe in giving back to the community and support a variety of charities. My wife and I are also active members of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Houston, TX.
My firm is distinct in that we are creative, aggressive and always interested in looking out for the best interests of our clients. We prepare every case as if it will inevitably go to trial, which not only gives us the upper hand in negotiations, but also ensures that we are prepared for any possibility. The fact that we take many cases to trial and consistently win separates us from most of our competition.
When clients come to work with us, we never expect them to have a legal background or to be proficient in state and federal laws. That's our job. By putting our years of educational and hands-on-experience to work for you, you can ensure a just outcome in your case, knowing that complex litigation matters will always be handled with expertise. That being said, we lay out all the facts and apply them to the relevant law to explain to our clients the ranges of outcomes so they can make informed decisions.
We are interested in looking over all documents that are relevant to the case at hand.
Any person who has reason to believe that they have a personal injury claim should contact us. In an initial case evaluation, we will be able to discuss the situation and determine the best course of action.
