Estate Planning

Our mission: Transmute uncertainty and confusion into security and well-being.

We do it by paying attention to you from the moment you contact us. We do it by creating custom tailored estate plans with your interests in mind.

Our estate planning packages include, in most cases:

1) Funding your trust

2) Free yearly review of your estate plan

3) Free unlimited phone calls about your estate plan

4) Collaborative planning with your advisers, if requested

Depending on your unique circumstances, an optimal estate plan will do some or all of the following:

* Manage for control of your property (while alive and well)

* Care for you and your loved ones (upon death, or should you ever become incapacitated)

* Manage the risks of incapacity

* Articulate your health care and end-of-life wishes

* Delegate health care decisions

* Provide for the needs of a surviving spouse (if applicable)

* Provide liquidity at death

* Specify inheritances

* Fulfill your charitable wishes

* Provide back up parents for children

* Plan for children (including those with special needs)

* Provide incentives and promote education and a strong work ethic for your children or other loved ones after you are gone

* Minimize the risk of children being hurt by affluenza

* Protect your assets

* Avoid the time and expense of probate (whenever possible)

Located in Carlsbad, California.

With over 23 years in experience as a business attorney, the firm's principal business law attorney, Bobby Kouretchian, has worked for some of the world's largest law firms, representing some of the world's largest companies, including Microsoft, Qualcomm, Bayer, and more. Mr. Kouretchian left to create Koza Law Group in late 2012.

These days, Koza Law Group works with companies of all sizes, from up-and-coming family start-ups to complex multinationals. The firm is selective in taking on business clients.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We understand that law firms can be powerful forces. With all power, however, comes great responsibility.

Koza Law Group is a proponent of "mindful lawyering." Mindfulness is not usually associated with law firms. But we believe that a mindful law firm can better serve its clients and its community.
