Kormanik & Sneed LLP serves the legal needs of people throughout the state of Idaho but focused primarily in Ada, Blaine, Canyon, Elmore, and Valley counties.

Firm Overview

Kormanik & Sneed LLP was formed by two friends in 2006. John and Brad decided they had a formula to do things better. By better, they believed (and still believe) they could zealously represent people in a cost effective manner while giving the personal attention to detail that is necessary to ensure the best possible outcome for their clients.

Criminal Defense
Kormanik & Sneed LLP has been serving the needs of those accused of crimes since 2008. Personal attention to client needs is critical.Protecting client's rights is paramount and is the ultimate focus of this area of the law.
John Kormanik handles all of the firm's criminal defense cases. John works tirelessly to ensure his clients constitutional rights are protected and the governmental agency bringing charges is held to the highest standard of proof known in the law - "beyond a reasonable doubt."
DUI and DWI
DUI charges can have life-long consequences. Although Kormanik & Sneed does not condone driving while under the influence, it will zealously represent clients charged with DUI/DWI to ensure their rights are protected.
John Kormanik has been defending DUI/DWI cases for nearly ten years. He takes a practical approach with his clients but maintains an aggressive stance with the government. John will discuss the two-track nature - administrative through the Idaho Department of Transportation and criminal charges - of any DUI charge.

John believes the government must be held to its burden of proof in these matters. Just as important, John ensures his client's constitutional rights against unreasonable search and seizure are not violated during any interaction with law enforcement. If those rights were violated, John will aggressively argue for suppression of the evidence obtained in violation of the constitutional rights.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

John decided to undertake representation of those accused of crimes because he believes strongly in protecting the constitutional rights of those accused of crimes. He believes the government should be held to account when it violates the rights of the accused and in proving any case beyond a reasonable doubt.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

John worked for the Orange County (California) District Attorney during law school. It was during this work he recognized the critical need for qualified, competent and caring defense attorneys to serve the critical need of protecting citizens from the seemingly limitless power and resources of the government.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Kormanik & Sneed provides top-notch legal representation at a reasonable price. The firm offers both flat fee and hourly representation of the accused. By keeping things "small" at the firm, John and Brad believe they are able to ensure their clients get the personal touch that is necessary when someone is facing the loss of freedom.
