Many of the firm attorneys initially worked for municipalities in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties or as special counsel. Adolph Koeppel, Michael R. Martone and Edward Mohlenhoff were all in the Nassau County Attorney's Office handling tax certiorari and condemnation matters. Carol Rizzo handled tax certiorari matters for the Islip Town Attorneys office. Myrna Cadet-Osse handled condemnation and tax certiorari matters for the Corporation Counsel of the City of New York. Carol Rizzo interned for Federal Magistrate Jordan of the Eastern District Court. Jason M.
