Matt S. Englett

Matt S. Englett is a native Floridian who was born in the city of Orlando. Matt attended Florida Southern College where he pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After completing his undergraduate studies in 1994, he went on to Mississippi College School of Law. Matt received his Juris Doctorate in 1998 and was admitted to the Florida Bar that same year.Matt began his legal career as a State Prosecutor where he gained valuable experience as a trial attorney. As a result of working hands on with people as a prosecutor, Matt realized that ordinary people with modest means were in dire need of better legal representation. With this as the premise, he along with Jeff Kaufman and Craig Lynd founded Kaufman, Englett & Lynd, PLLC which is more widely known as KEL or KEL Attorneys.Matt is the Managing Partner at the firm and he spends much of his time working with KEL's attorneys and staff to make sure every client the firm represent is receiving the highest level of legal services. Matt also spends a large portion of his time educating the public on legal issues that may be effecting people's lives.

Matt routinely appears on nationally and locally produced TV and radio programs to do legal analysis. His appearances include CNBC The Kudlow Report, Fox Business News, National Fox News, local NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox affiliates in both Orlando and Tampa markets. Matt is a regular contributor on CNBC's The Kudlow Report and Fox13 Good Day Tampa Bay. Matt can also be heard every week on The Buckethead show, Wednesdays at 1:00 on 104.1 FM WTKS and his own show Under Oath every Tuesday and Thursday at 6 pm on 540 am WFLA both in Central Florida.

Jeffrey S. Kaufman

Jeffrey S. Kaufman Jeffrey S. Kaufman was born in Miami, Florida and he received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 1991 from Florida State University. He also obtained a second Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida in 1993. Mr. Kaufman went on to attend the University of Tulsa where he completed his Juris Doctorate in 1996.Attorney Kaufman was admitted to the Florida Bar Association in 1996. He is licensed to practice law and an active bar association member in 15 other states including: Oklahoma, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Texas, Michigan, Maryland, New York, Washington, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia, Connecticut, and Ohio. Mr. Kaufman is also licensed in Florida's Northern, Central, and Southern Federal Districts.Prior to attending college, Attorney Kaufman was an active member of the U.S. Military's Army branch from 1984 until 1987. He started his career in law as a legal coordinator with Ocwen Financial Bank where he handled legal aspects related to the organization's foreclosed upon properties.

After serving the state, he realized that people in Florida were in desperate need of legal services that were not only aggressive, but affordable. With this philosophy in mind, he became a founding member of Kaufman, Englett & Lynd, PLLC. Throughout his history at the firm, he has represented thousands of clients in many areas of law and has become a nationally recognized defense attorney. Currently, Attorney Kaufman works with clients who are in need of reliable foreclosure defense solutions and counsel.

Craig R. Lynd

Craig R. Lynd was born in Mobridge, South Dakota and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Central Florida. He then went on to attend Stetson University College of Law and earned his Juris Doctor. He was admitted to the The Florida Bar that very same year.Mr. Lynd started his legal career by working at the Office of the Public Defender where he was quickly promoted to the felony division. After gaining valuable experience working for the State, he left to start his own criminal defense law firm. His practice garnered much acclaim and became one of Florida's leading defense firms with over a dozen offices throughout the state. At his law firm, Mr. Lynd supervised 15 defense attorneys that worked on cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to complex white collar offenses.Following the success of his firm, Mr. Lynd and his partners began a title agency which quickly grew to become one of the largest agencies in the state. He served as general counsel for his agency as well as a local construction company and a real estate firm. His enhanced knowledge of the real estate industry was put to use when he accepted the position of General Counsel for a Florida underwriting company. This organization's focus was insuring owners and lenders interests in real property.Like Mr. Kaufman and Mr. Englett, Mr. Lynd realized that people in the state of Florida needed reliable and affordable legal services. With this principal in mind, he became a founding member of Kaufman, Englett & Lynd, PLLC. Now, Mr. Lynd utilizes his immense real estate knowledge to help homeowners who are facing foreclosure and large banks. He also trains other attorneys at the firm in foreclosure defense methods and strategies.
