Firm Overview

I provide multidisciplinary transaction and litigation legal services characterized by an emphasis on personalized service and individualized legal solutions.

Example cases

Contractor absconded with client's money without building fence as obligated and paid to do. Structured pleadings as fraud and obtained more favorable recovery than mere breach of contract case.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I work in numerous areas that appeal to me so my work is never stale.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is very important, so that the client can make informed decisions. I assist in this effort by involving my clients in substantive legal analysis, employing storytelling techniques to explain complex legal concepts and routinely communicating with clients. Self Help Works.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I enjoy it and know it leads to the rendering of some of the best legal work.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I support broad self help efforts, except in the context of complex litigation in the courtroom. In such situations, I believe the client is better served by working with counsel that practices unbundled legal services.

Karl-Fredric Seligman

I have been in private practice, contract counsel to law firms, staff member of boutique law firm and in-house assignments as licensing attorney, corporate counsel and senior corporate counsel.

I offer versatility and depth. Versatility, because I have established myself equally in numerous areas of law. Depth, because my academic and professional history is layered with logically integrated experiences, including eight years working in industrial relations prior to entering law school.

I have developed a reputation as a decisive and strategic thinker who can effectively analyze complex information and produce creative solutions.

I am honest, practical and relaxed.

Personal interests:

I enjoy cooking, antiques and restoration; backpacking.
