Aviation Law
We provide legal representation to aircraft owners, purchasers, sellers, lessors, lessees, airmen, air carriers, commercial operators, airport authorities, FBO's & maintenance technicians in a variety of circumstances, transactions and proceedings. Our aviation practice concentration includes representation in all aspects of the purchase & sale of new or previously-owned aircraft, leasing and interchange arrangements, state or federal tax matters, IRC section 1031 like-kind exchanges, aircraft registration issues, aircraft leasing and ownership structures, joint ownership structures, compliance with state and federal regulations in a variety of aviation-specific operations, the negotiation and purchase and sale of aircraft fractional interests under national programs such as Netjets, FlexJet and Flight Options, and trial practice in aviation contract, liability & FAA enforcement and regulatory actions.

Business Organizations and Transactions
Small businesses make up the vast majority of the economic vitality of the American economy. The people who form them and run them are independent and entrepreneurial by nature. As a small business, we understand the need for business organization & planning, business plan development, business organization selection & formation, private financing and business transactions advice, contract formation & negotiation, and legal representation before state and federal regulating agencies. Our trial practice includes representation in breach of insurance, construction bonding or other transaction agreements, and the defense against state or federal agency enforcement actions.

Civil Trials in State and Federal Courts
The trial of a lawsuit in which the factual questions are presented to, and the final judgment is determined by a jury, is a constitutional right of every American. Such trials are available in all cases in which a person's liberty or substantial property rights are at risk. They are not available in bankruptcy, maritime, administrative or small claims proceedings. The trial of a lawsuit in which the factual questions are presented to, and the final judgment is determined by a judge is often referred to as a bench trial. Such trials are available in all cases in which a person's other property rights are at risk. We represent our clients in the investigation, preparation and trial of either type of trial involving bodily injury, wrongful death, doctor & hospital malpractice, property, probate or estate disputes, contract claims, and the defense against state or federal agency enforcement actions.

Defense in Criminal Trials in State Courts
When the state charges a person with a crime, that person's freedom, livelihood and reputation is on the line. While most arrests result from a good-faith belief that a crime was committed, sometimes the police are overzealous, or just plain wrong. A trial in a public courtroom before a judge or a jury in which the facts are presented in a fair and even-handed manner is a constitutional right of every American, and may be the only way for a person to be exonerated. We represent our clients in the investigation, preparation and defense at trial of administrative and judicial proceedings involving charges of DUI, negligent operation, assault, illegal drugs and other crimes. These crimes may include a felony, which is punishable by more than one year in prison, a substantial fine, and probation, a misdemeanor, which is punishable by one year or less in prison, a significant fine, and probation, or a violation, which is punishable by a fine, and loss of certain privileges.

Divorce, Separation and Family Law
The practice of family law is focused upon the legal relationships among family members, including husbands, wives, parents, children, and domestic partners. We provide legal representation in the preparation of cohabitation and pre-marital (pre-nuptial) agreements which are designed to avoid problems in the future. When these relationships lead to chronic disagreements, we provide legal representation in matters which encompass adoption, child custody, parenting rights, domestic violence, divorce, juvenile dependency and delinquency, marital property rights, support obligations, paternity, including the investigation, preparation, negotiation and trial of cases which cannot be resolved by agreement.

Immigration Law
We provide representation to clients who have legal issues regarding US citizenship, loss of citizenship, the admission or removal of aliens, obtaining a green card, or temporary entry into the U.S. under a non-immigrant visa. We can also assist clients seeking assistance with asylum, naturalization, denaturalization, deportation or allegations of illegal immigration.

Mediation Services
Professional mediation is a type of alternative dispute resolution process which can be used in business, civil, and family disputes.
