I will personally represent you through the entire SSA process.

When you are trying to fight for what you deserve, you need an experienced attorney who can help you navigate the legal system and secure the best possible result
I promise to help you win the benefits you deserve due to your disability, whether it be physical or mental. I have earned a nearly 100% success rate, as I hate to lose! If you feel you have been wrongfully denied, call or email me now for a free consultation. I offer you the benefit of my over 30 years of experience.

Unlike most SSA law firms, I will represent you personally from start to finish. I will NOT assign your case to a paralegal or novice attorney. Nor will I show up just for the hearing as some national law firms do. Your case is much too important for that.

I have a vast knowledge of medicine, disease, physiology, anatomy, as well as mental illness. I understand and appreciate how mental and physical disabilities affect a person's ability to work. I have helped many people over the years with all kinds of disabilities. These disabilities include all types of mental illnesses including depression, bipolar, anxiety and PTSD. I have helped people with all manner of physical impairments as well. These include heart disease, chronic neck and back pain too many to list. I have also helped many people with the often misunderstood conditions of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, win their benefits.

I would be happy to offer you my personal and professional legal representation throughout the entire SSA appeal process. Please call or email me NOW to learn how I can help you get the compensation you deserve!

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

During law school many years ago, I took a clinical program with Utah Legal Services. I yearned for some real life experience representing real people. I needed a change from the drudgery of studying law books all day and night. I quickly found I loved it! I did three SSA Disability hearings while still in law school. I won them all! I get tremendous satisfaction in winning benefits for those who are truly in need of assistance due to no fault of their own.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

After graduating from the University of Utah Law School, I was hired by Utah Legal Services as a staff attorney in its Public Benefits Dept. A large part of my job included SSDI and SSI disability cases. I represented hundreds of people with their hearings over the 6 years I worked for ULS. Later, when I opened up my own law office, and had the freedom to choose the cases I wanted (instead of just those the Senior Partners assigned to me), I started doing SSDI and SSI cases once again. They have been an important part of my practice ever since.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

When you hire me, you get me! Many disability law firms, especially the large volume "factories," will assign legal assistants or paralegals to work up your case. They may have an inexperienced lawyer, or even a non-lawyer do your hearing. The big national firms may simply fly in your representative for the hearing. That may be the first time you meet your representative.

Not with me, John L. Black, Jr. Your case is much too important for that. Hire me, and you get me. You will receive the benefit of my 30 years of experience, and wealth of medical knowledge. I will represent you personally from start to finish; from the initial interview, through to the hearing, and on any appeal, if necessary.
