How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Our practice areas were determined based upon the years of experience acquired in corporate, business, contract, technology, intellectual property and merger & acquisition matters before our formation.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

We are distinguished by our principal's having served as actual in-house counsel in a leading technology company, as well as virtual in-house counsel for a diverse range of global businesses. This experience of being part of the business team informs our approach and delivery of legal services. We understand the time, budget and other realities of starting or running a business. We have lived it.

In addition, our principal has more than 15 years of extensive intellectual property and information technology experience. For example, he managed the IP portfolio and negotiated contracts for a leading global technology company. This is core practice area and strength of the firm.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Unlike most small business law firms, our key attorney has more than 15 years of extensive intellectual property and information technology experience. For example, our principal managed the IP portfolio and negotiated contracts for a leading global technology company. This is core practice area and strength of the firm.

In addition, a commitment to the principles below distinguish us.

At all times, we will seek to:

Understand your business and legal needs better than anyone else;
Develop -- with you -- the best approach to meeting your legal needs;
Deliver professional results, on schedule and for a reasonable fee; and
Explain our advice and actions to your satisfaction.

In order to achieve these standards, we will strive to follow the principles below.

Be Responsive -- by returning your calls and emails as quickly as possible and by being available for meetings and conference calls at your convenience.

Learn About Your Business -- by listening to you intently and by offering courtesy visits or conferences so we can understand your current opportunities, plans and challenges.

Keep You Informed -- by regularly advising you about the handling and status of each matter.

Communicate Clearly -- by using "plain English" and using the methods you prefer.

Be Flexible -- by adapting our practices to your preferences as much as possible.

Prevent Billing Surprises -- by explaining how and when we bill for our services and by issuing timely, regular statements that are clear and easy to understand.

Work Efficiently -- by focusing on your particular goals and by seeking the most effective strategies and tactics.

Improve Continuously -- by pursuing ongoing training and education and by seeking your evaluation of our performance.
