Firm Overview

We focus on corporate (business entity formation, venture financing, business contracts, employment agreements), intellectual property (patent, trademark, copyright, IP licensing and litigation), and civil litigation (breach of contract, debt collection, employment, real estate, partnership dispute, investment fraud). We started the firm in April 2002.

Example cases

We represented a foreign OEM manufacturer who was sued by its local distributor for patent and trademark infringement, breach of contract, and unfair competition. The plaintiff was represented by a prominent international law firm and was seeking multi-million dollar damages and injunctive relief. Through aggressive discovery strategy and thorough advocacy, we successfully filed a Motion to Dismiss which was granted by Federal Judge Honorable Saundra Armstrong.

We were engaged to collect a substantial amount of debt for an out of state client. The debtor was evasive and had fraudulently transferred his assets to become judgment proof. We took aggressive actions against the debtor and his co-conspirator, which resulted in full recovery of all the debts, plus interests, legal costs and attorney's fees. The client felt absolutely vindicated and is very satisfied with our services.

We served as plaintiff's counsel in a wrongful termination case on behalf of a high-tech company CEO and founder, whose case was transferred to us from a much larger firm. The previous counsel worked on the case for over 6 months without any result. We were able to put together an aggressive litigation strategy and forced the company, which was represented by a prominent 1000+ attorney firm, to offer a substantial amount of settlement within 2 weeks after we substituted into the case. The client was very impressed by our results-oriented and cost-effective approach to litigate his case.

We recently represented an individual who had a joint venture with her partners and who was denied ownership of the joint venture and the copyright to her work of authorship. Given she was recently divorced without sufficient financial resources, we provided a creative fee structure with mixed hourly and contingency fees. The case was litigated in the federal district court and was settled in our client's favor, for far more than what she expected.
