Business
At McQueen Awad LLC, total effort is concentrated on addressing legal issues. We solve legal issues in a timely and efficient manner. Our clients know they can call on us because we are committed to them.
Young and established companies have continuous legal needs, from drafting and negotiating agreements to setting up new companies. Entrepreneurs and emerging companies are vital to job creation and the growth of our economy, not only in the Midwest and St. Louis region, but globally.
McQueen Awad understands this need. Our firm provides a full range of corporate legal services to entrepreneurs, start-ups and small to large businesses.
Our experience working at some of the best and largest law firms in the region has prepared us to provide high-quality work combined with practical knowledge about how businesses grow.
Being entrepreneurs ourselves, we can further understand the risks and frustrations associated with starting and running a business. As a result, we can come up with “outside the box” solutions to assist you in running your business without legal obstacles.

What can we do for your business?

- Counseling for the most appropriate business formation (i.e. Limited Liability Company, Partnership, C Corporation, S Corporation, Sole Proprietorship, etc.)

- Counseling on the creation and maintenance of corporate records

- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of different types of agreements/contracts regarding issues both inside and outside your business

- Providing counsel on corporate governance issues

- Conducting due diligence for transactions related to your business

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

My focus is in international business. It fits my life experiences and my interest.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I always encourage clients to educate themselves on matters of interest buy I always warn them about inaccurate information on the internet and the difficulties in attempting to form their own legal analysis.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I am always willing, but normally I need to rewrite a majority of the documents. It gives me a chance to show the client the value I bring to the table.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I am normally not willing to put myself in the position of coach. This brings liability issues that can be detrimental to my practice.
