Workers Compensation
Chicago Workplace Injury Lawyers
Unfortunately, workplace accidents and illnesses are far too common. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 2013 alone there were more than three million reportable work related injuries and illnesses in the United States and the number of fatal occupational injuries stood at 4,405. Workplace accidents and illnesses can seriously impact an employee's ability to earn a living and cause medical bills to skyrocket very quickly. Even if a work-related injury is minor, an employee may still need to take substantial time off of work to treat an injury, resulting in a significant loss of wages.

If you have been injured on the job in Illinois, you may have the right to receive compensation for your lost wages and medical expenses. In most cases, work related accidents and injuries will fall under the protection of the Illinois workers' compensation laws. However, depending upon the particular circumstances of your case and the cause of your injury, you may be able to pursue additional claims against third parties who are responsible for your injuries. For instance, if you were hurt while driving a car at work and another driver was at fault, you may have the right to collect both workers' compensation benefits and damages from the other driver. Also, if your work-related injury or illness was due to a defective product in the workplace, you may be able to bring a legal action against the manufacturer or supplier of the product.

Handling a Complete Range of Workplace Injuries

The laws dealing with workplace injuries and illnesses can be very confusing to understand and navigate. If you have been injured on the job, you should discuss your situation with an experienced Chicago workers' compensation attorney. There are strict time limits and procedures that must be followed in order to file a legal claim. If you miss a deadline or fail to comply with a legal rule, you may lose the right to receive compensation in your case.

When you are dealing with a work-related injury or illness, it is important to work with an experienced legal team that knows how to effectively handle workplace accident claims. Our Chicago injury lawyers have the knowledge and skills necessary to handle a complete range of workplace illness and injury cases, including:

Workers' Compensation
Construction Accidents

We strongly believe that service to others and protecting our rights are important American values, and we get tremendous gratification from doing it every day.
We Are People's Lawyers. We are committed to common people from all walks of life who are victims of injustice. We never switch sides and represent corporations or insurance companies who oppose full compensation and justice for the injured.
We Have Compassion and We Listen. There is more to being a good lawyer than knowing the law. We are aware of the important role that attorneys play in people's lives, and are dedicated to being a compassionate counselor and friend. By having a strong relationship with our clients, we become partners in our journey to justice.
Your Interests Are Most Important. While we are always ready to go to battle when called upon, we will not allow our passion for the good fight blind us from settling a case. But we only settle cases when the offer provides full and fair compensation, and the client agrees on the amount. We proudly obtain maximum recoveries for our clients based on our reputation and our opponents' fear of going to trial against us. We know exactly how to achieve your goals and will utilize and exhaust all of our resources to do so.
Every Case Is Unique and Special to Us. Most lawyers follow the same routine in every case. But in reality, no two cases are the same. All accidents are different. No two injuries are identical. The law is constantly changing. That's why we customize our strategy at the start of every case to make sure our plan is will achieve the best result for your particular case.
We're Ready for Trial. Insurance companies know that our firm will be ready for trial and that all issues have been thoroughly investigated, researched and considered. Our clients often receive desirable settlement offers because we aggressively investigate and prosecute every case.
