Boston Criminal Defense Group

Firm Overview

Our Massachusetts Criminal Defense Attorneys, made up of mostly former district attorneys are now aggressively defending criminal cases. We defend clients against improper arrests, illegal search and seizure, and wrongful police conduct. We know how the district attorney prosecutes cases. We used to be in their shoes. We have their playbook. Now we use our insider-knowledge to defend clients. Our firm was established in 2006.

Example cases

I've had countless OUI cases either thrown out of court or with not guilty jury verdicts. I've had drug charges dismissed. I hold the prosecutor to their high burden.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Family law is not an impersonal area of the law. Instead, it has a profound and deep impact on the lives of all those who deal with it. This is especially true in relation to family law issues that pertain to children. I firmly believe in acting in the best interests of children and consider myself to be an advocate for their rights. I chose to enter into this area of the law so that I would be given a chance to provide my clients with the supportive guidance that they need to not only protect themselves - but their entire family.

Irwin Pollack

I have spent my entire career immersed in the law. This has given me an extensive understanding of not only family law, but criminal defense, bankruptcy and personal injury matters. This has given me a thorough comprehension that I am able to utilize on a daily basis, providing my clients with the hard-hitting, knowledgeable and experienced representation that they will truly be able to rely on.

When it comes to courtroom trial skills, my firm wrote the book - and keeps rewriting. My firm's trial notebook is a collection of some of the best cross-examinations in the country. I study them, refine them, use them, and refine them again. My clients benefit from my constant pursuit of excellence.

I make dealing with an attorney easy. Many of my clients comment that I don't "look" like a lawyer. When you meet with me - at night or over the weekend - you'll see me in jeans or in running gear. You'll like my direct and to-the-point approach. I'm not intimidating and I am a darn good listener. I take the time to explain things and it's only on rare occasions that I don't answer phone calls immediately!
