Otis W. Carroll

With more than 25 years of litigation experience, Otis Carroll is one of the preeminent trial lawyers in East Texas. Prior to founding Ireland, Carroll & Kelley, P.C., Mr. Carroll practiced with the firm of Foreman & Dyes and served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas. Patrick Kelley

Board certified in Business Bankruptcy Law since 1990, Patrick Kelley's practice centers on Chapter 11 reorganizations and bankruptcy-related federal litigation. A highly respected lawyer, Patrick has earned an AV Preeminent Peer Review RatingSM by Martindale-Hubbell for his outstanding legal abilities, as well as recognition as a Texas Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine in 2003, 2004 and from 2008 to 2011.

Mr. Kelley is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and has served on the Bankruptcy Advisory Commission of the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Formerly a law clerk to the Honorable Ben C. Connally, Chief Judge, United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Mr. Kelley is admitted to practice before the 5th and 11th Circuit, United States Courts of Appeals, and all United States District Courts in Texas. Deborah Race

Deborah Race regularly appears in various state and federal trial and appellate courts. She is board certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Specialization and devotes her practice to appeals and litigation support. She also frequently serves as local counsel to national firms appearing in the Eastern District of Texas. Deborah is currently admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the Courts of Appeals for the 5th and Federal Circuits, the Eastern District of Texas and all Texas courts.

Prior to joining the firm in 1995, Deborah formerly served as a briefing and research attorney for the 12th Court of Appeals in Tyler, Texas. Deborah earned her law degree from the University of Houston. She currently serves as the president of the Smith County Bar Association. She is also a member of the State Board of Disciplinary Appeals to which she was appointed by the Texas Supreme Court in 2007. Prior to being appointed to the Board of Disciplinary Appeals, she served as chair of the District 2-A Grievance Committee. She also currently serves on the Council of the Women and the Law Section for the State Bar of Texas. She is a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. She is also a member of the 5th Circuit and Federal Circuit Bar Associations, Litigation Counsel of America and the T. John Ward American Inn of Court.

Deborah's accomplishments have earned her a reputation for excellence among clients and peers. Collin M. Maloney

Collin Maloney focuses his practice on federal and state commercial litigation in the areas of patents and intellectual property, products liability, medical device and pharmaceutical defects, and oil and gas litigation. A former briefing attorney for the Honorable Harry W. McKee, United States Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Texas, Collin is admitted to practice before all Texas state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

A graduate of Creighton University (B.A. 1991) and Texas Tech University School of Law (J.D. 1995), Collin is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Smith County Bar Association and Bar Association for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
