A small boutique firm specializing in criminal defense and DHS deprived cases.
We are a small firm with significant experience in the fields of criminal defense and DHS deprived cases. We believe our results speak for themselves. We are not inexpensive, but strive to charge a fair price for quality representation. We pride ourselves on maintaining open lines of communication with our clients, and, while no firm is perfect, we do our best to assure that every client is ultimately happy with their decision to hire us.
How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?
Criminal defense and DHS deprived cases are the only areas of the law that have ever interested us.
What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others
We have significant experience handling the most serious criminal charges in both the state and federal court systems. We have handled capital murder cases, serious drug cases, rape cases, robbery cases, RICO cases and every type of white collar criminal case imaginable. If you are charged with it, we have seen it.
What distinguishes your law firm from others?
We believe we are the only private law firm in America to have been involved in 3 separate death row releases.
Perry Hudson is a native Oklahoman, born and raised in Fairfax, Oklahoma. He graduated from Benedictine College with a Bachelor of Science in 1994. He received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. Upon graduation, Perry began working for the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System as a capital attorney handling both post-conviction and direct appeals.
After two years of appellate work, Perry transitioned into capital trial work. Perry remained with the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System as a capital trial attorney for an additional three years; gaining invaluable experience.
In 2002, Perry moved into private practice where he continued to focus on criminal defense cases, but no longer exclusively death penalty cases. While Perry has been involved in numerous high profile cases, it's the release of three death row inmates - Curtis McCarty, James Fisher and Yancy Douglas - that most satisfy him. Perry's adroit expertise is not limited to murder cases; as a vigilant Fourth Amendment advocate he has vigorously represented clients in thousands of drug cases ranging from simple marijuana possession to aggravated trafficking of narcotics. One of Perry's most notable victories stems from his work as a member of the defense team that successfully suppressed the illegal search and seizure of the largest non-border heroin bust in the United States. Presently Perry continues to specialize in all manner of criminal defense cases as well as the closely related field of DHS deprived cases.
