Perry Hudson is a native Oklahoman, born and raised in Fairfax, Oklahoma. He graduated from Benedictine College with a Bachelor of Science in 1994. He received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1997. Upon graduation, Perry began working for the Capital Post-Conviction Division and shortly thereafter accepted a position in the office of Capital Direct Appeals. Perry's primary area of focus during this time was death penalty appellate work.
Perry began his tenure as a trial/appellate attorney in Capital Trial Work in 1999. He worked as part of the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System tasked with eliminating trial error and making sure the ever evolving Death Penalty Law was being followed by the trial team. This unique position allowed Perry the opportunity to master his craft both as an appellate attorney and a trial attorney.
In 2002, Perry moved into private practice where he continued to focus his expertise on criminal defense cases. While Perry has been involved in numerous murder cases, it's the exoneration of three death row inmates Curtis McCarty, James Fisher and Yancy Douglas that distinguish him as an elite criminal defense attorney. Perry's adroit expertise is broad based and far reaching; As a vigilant proponent of the Fourth Amendment he has successfully represented clients in hundreds of drug cases ranging from simple Marijuana possession to aggravated trafficking of narcotics. One of Perry's most widely notable victories stems from his work as a member of the defense team that successfully suppressed the illegal search and seizure of the largest non-border heroin bust in the United States. Presently, Perry Hudson specializes in all manners of Criminal Defense, Drug Crimes and Personal Injury law.
