Firm Overview

We do NOT represent corporations. Only people. People wronged by corporate interest, negligence, or otherwise harmed in any way.

Electrocution, explosions, toxic exposure, brain injury, loss of life, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, retaliation, not paid on time, etc

18-wheeler accidents are usually no accident. Federal laws require commercial vehicles to be in proper operating order. Sadly, a lot are in violation of one or many laws and still on the road. These are ticking time bombs. We can help if you have been involved in a wreck with a commercial vehicle.

Harassment and retaliation at work is a problem. We have identified dozens of ways to prove that your loss of job wasn't due to your inability to do the job, but for illegal reasons. Even if you have to quit your job because of the harassment and treatment you have rights. We can and will explore them with you.

Wages payment cases - we can determine if you are getting paid properly and on time. There are state and federal laws that require you to get over time if you work more than 40 hours a week - for almost everyone. There is no such thing as "off the clock" requirements. Many employers have tried to wiggle around paying for time spent cleaning up, getting ready for next shift, or running errands out side of normal business hours. This is illegal. Other employees have tried to force 50 hours one week and 30 the next and not pay OT for the 10 hours - also illegal. If you don't get paid on payday, there is usually a claim. On time pay is important and in WV if you do not get paid within a week (or less) IN FULL, then you can collect 100% of the amount due. Or 2 times what you are owed.

Adrian grew up in the coal fields of Southern West Virginia. He began working in the mines at the age of 16, gaining an understanding for the blue collar work ethic of West Virginia and how hard men and women must work to provide for their families.

Adrian became a lawyer to help individuals struggling from tragic events, including serious injury, wrongful death, job termination, insurance claims denials, assisting with addicted babies/children, and major workplace disasters. He has had the opportunity to work cases in many industries including construction, engineering, oil and gas explosions, train wrecks, 18-wheeler/commercial vehicle accidents, coal mine explosions and injuries, timbering accidents and deaths, school accreditation loss, asbestos exposure / mesothelioma, hernia mesh patch claims, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (Roundup claims), opioid addiction claims, medical malpractice, and hundreds of employment law claims including wage payment violations, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and family medical leave act claims.

Adrian is an honor graduate of Man High School, in Man, West Virginia where most of his family still resides. Adrian earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Dayton School of Law while completing a visiting year at the West Virginia University College of Law in Morgantown, West Virginia (2005).

After law school, Adrian worked with seasoned trial lawyer William "Bill" Mundy in Huntington, WV, where Adrian was primarily responsible for working with individuals who were the victims of insurance claim denials or low-ball resolution offers commonly referred to as first party bad faith. Thereafter Adrian worked with The Daniels Law Firm, PLLC in Charleston, WV, on construction claims and engineering negligence litigation. Adrian opened Hoosier Law Firm, PLLC in Charleston in May 2008.

Since opening his firm, Adrian was one of the youngest elected board members of the West Virginia Association of Justice and has been routinely recognized by Super Lawyers, Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and many other legal publications. Adrian had the largest jury verdict in Kanawha County in 2016 involving a disputed liability death claim in an automobile accident.

Adrian is licensed to practice law by the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and the United States Court for both the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia and has participated in litigation in nearly all of West Virginia's 55 counties.
