Auto Accident
The Hodge & Langley Law Firm has nearly thirty years of experience practicing before every type of court in South Carolina and will work to ensure that you receive the maximum compensation possible.
Accidents can occur on any and every highway and street and every day people are seriously injured or killed in motor-vehicle crashes. If your accident (or the accident that caused a relative’s death) involved a commercial vehicle – especially a semi, tractor-trailer, 18-wheeler or big rig – the damages suffered may be especially serious.

At the Spartanburg, South Carolina based Hodge & Langley Law Firm, we know the difficulties of dealing with insurance companies and third parties after a car or truck wreck. Insurance companies have lawyers who deal aggressively with injured people. You will only obtain full compensation and the award you are due if you have an aggressive and experienced lawyer on your side. Our team of commercial vehicle accident attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants and experts will: perform an extensive investigation into the cause of the accident; discover any violations of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) that may have contributed to the wreck; scrutinize the truck driver’s driving history and the hiring and safety practices of the company employing the driver; and probe the commercial vehicle for any malfunctions.

The Hodge & Langley Law Firm has nearly thirty years of experience practicing before every type of court in South Carolina and will work to ensure that you receive the maximum compensation possible. Our auto accident lawyers offer a free initial consultation to discuss your case and handle nearly all auto accident cases on a contingency fee basis, which means that you pay nothing up front for our legal services. If we are successful, our fee will be a percentage of the settlement or award we obtain for you; if we are not successful, you will owe us no attorney fees.

Unfortunately, sometimes doctors and health care professionals make gross mistakes that cause great consequences to their patients and their patients’ loved ones.

If you have been injured on the job, you are entitled to compensation for medical expenses and lost wages, and perhaps permanent disability benefits if you have experienced a loss of function of a body part. Additionally, if you are totally unable to work, we can also help you obtain social security disability benefits.

Despite the fact that South Carolina law requires that you be provided with these benefits, filing a claim for workers' compensation benefits can be a frustrating experience. Many people who have valid injury claims do not receive the benefits they deserve because lawyers for the employer will likely claim one of the following: the injury did not happen on the job, the injury was not work-related, the injury was a pre-existing condition, or the employee did not give notice of the injury.

The Hodge & Langley Law Firm has succeeded in overcoming these arguments for thousands of injured workers and thereby ensured they received the compensation due for their work injury.

Our workers compensation lawyers offer a free initial consultation to discuss your workers compensation case and handle nearly all workers compensation cases on a contingency fee basis, which means that you pay nothing up front for our legal services.
