Estate Planning Workshop
We all know that everyone needs a simple will. In addition to saving on the expense and delay of probate, we can ensure the care of our minor children. But most of us are too busy and this important task falls to the bottom of our to-do list. We don't want to do it wrong, and don't want to spend a lot of time or money to do it right. If this sounds like you, consider this Estate Planning Workshop.
After registering, you complete a worksheet before the workshop that will allow the attorneys to prepare your basic estate planning documents. During the two-hour evening workshop, we will review the documents with you and explain them. You will have the opportunity to sign and notarize them before you leave. Then you can mark this task off your to-do list.

Probate and trust administration, advice on the new Missouri Trust Code, termination of trusts
Probate is the process where a court determines who gets a person's property when they die and appoints someone to distribute it. There are various types of probate including full probate, small estate administration, creditors and spouse's refusals and determination of heirs. The probate court also has jurisdiction over guardianship and conservatorship matters. Probate can often be a very complicated and confusing process. We can guide you smoothly through the probate process.
We can advise you on a range of probate and estate planning tools, including durable powers of attorney, medical care powers of attorney, elder law planning, establishing guardianships, conservatorships, living wills, contested wills and probate administration.
