Steven E. Hennis practices law in the areas of Estate Planning, Probate and Business Law. He primarily advises clients regarding the general management and planning of their estates and properties then prepares Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and performs property transfers accordingly. He also manages the Probate Court process for clients and Executors upon the passing of their family members. Although he provides Estate Planning legal counseling for the entire spectrum of clients, he is somewhat focused upon the provision of services to elderly clients and their care-givers - he delivers Estate Planning overview presentations at many local nursing care centers, assisted living centers and senior citizens groups. Mr. Hennis also advises business owners in the formation of their enterprises, assists in the selection and filing of the proper business form, development of standardized documents for conducting business, and development and negotiation of the requisite commercial agreements for both business operations and for clients.
Mr. Hennis holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Kent State University and a J.D. from the University of Akron. He spent nearly twenty-seven years employed by the Babcock & Wilcox Company in Barberton, Ohio, serving in various capacities including In-House Counsel, Project Manager, Purchasing Manager and Engineer. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Wayne County Bar Association.
Steven has been married to his wife, Linda, for nearly twenty-four years and they are parents to four sons - Steven Jr., Spencer, Jacob and Joshua. When not practicing, Steven spends much of his time coaching various youth sports teams and both custom-painting motorcycles and building custom motorcycles for a nation-wide clientele.
