Omar Habbas

Omar Habbas was born in Los Angeles, California and is the youngest of five children born to Mr. and Mrs. Issa Habbas. His father served as staff sergeant in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and after service, opened up several businesses in the Los Angeles area while his wife raised five children and worked part time to help support his family. His parents celebrated 60 years of marriage in November, 2013.

He is the proud father of three children, Tarik Habbas, Alexandria Habbas, and Nicholas Habbas. Tarik completed his undergraduate studies at Santa Clara University in June of 2013, and received a B.S. in Political Science. He received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree in law from Santa Clara University School of Law in May of 2016. Alexandria Habbas graduated from Santa Clara University in June of 2014 and currently is currently employed by Facebook. Nicholas Habbas is a junior in high school.

Omar was born in Los Angeles, California in 1961 and has resided in the State of California throughout most of his life. In 1982, he received a BA in History from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. He received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1985. Omar joined the Law offices of William McCann and became a junior partner in 1987 until he formed his own law firm in 1988.

Omar enjoys traveling and physical fitness plays a very important role in his life. He wrestled during his years in High School and has a passion for weightlifting. He participated in bodybuilding competitions in his early years ( having won 1 st place overall in the Teenage West Coast Bodybuilding Competition held in the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts) and 1 st place in his weight group in the Mr. Santa Cruz Competition. He continues to train and weight lift 5 days a week.

Charitable contributions remain an integral part of Omar's life. He contributes significantly to family shelter organizations, the homeless, educational institutions and children stricken with grave illnesses. Omar takes personal pride in helping people and making a difference in someone else's life. He also sits on the Board of visitors of Santa Clara University Law School and in November of 2016 was invited by the school to serve as a director of an advisory group to the Dean of the law school.

Omar Habbas exclusively handles personal injury claims for individuals who have sustained serious injuries or damages in automobile/truck/pedestrian accidents, construction accidents, dog attacks, intentional assaults, malpractice actions (legal or medical), defective pharmaceutical drugs/medical devices, defective/dangerous roadways, discrimination cases and premises accidents. Omar has devoted his life to assisting injured victims who have had their lives altered through the careless conduct of another individual or corporation. Omar Habbas is a member of the Consumers Attorney of California (CAOC), formerly known as the California Trial Lawyers' Association, the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA), The American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA), Trial Lawyers for Public Justice (TLPJ), and member of the Top One Percent Attorneys in the nation by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. Omar was nominated in 2016 by Trial Lawyers for Public Justice, along with fellow associate counsel as Trial Lawyer of the Year.

Caroline J. Nasseri

Caroline J. Nasseri has resided in the State of California since August, 1980. She received a B.S. in Economics, as well as a B.A. in French from Santa Clara University in 1984. In 1988, Ms. Nasseri received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and M.B.A. from Santa Clara University Law School and Business School. In the early part of her career, Caroline worked as an associate attorney, primarily on insurance defense cases, for both the Law offices of Ropers, Majeski, Kohn & Bently, as well as the Law Offices of Eugene Flemate. Caroline joined the Law Offices of Habbas, Nasseri and Associates in 1992 and she became a partner in 1996. Caroline's passion & specialty is in the area of personal injury law and litigation.

Caroline Nasseri is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA), Iranian American Bar Association (IABA). In 1999, Caroline was listed in "San Jose Magazine" as one of the "Silicon Valley's best lawyers" in the area of personal injury. She volunteers her time for the Santa Clara County Alternative Dispute Resolution system including being a court appointed arbitrator. In addition, Caroline regularly arranges and gives seminars to new immigrants regarding various areas of the law in order to help them with their transition into the community. Caroline is interested in traveling and learning about different cultures and she is fluent in Farsi and Assyrian and can converse in French and Italian.

Caroline has over 25 years of experience in the practice of law and she has handled over thousands of personal injury cases ranging from soft tissue injuries to catastrophic injuries resulting in multiple million dollar settlements. Caroline is very passionate about helping her clients and prides herself on her determination to fight relentlessly for injured victims.
