My goal is to provide quality, affordable legal services in a professional and caring manner. I provide personal attention to each and every one of my clients in the areas of consumer bankruptcy and family law.
After working for other law firms for most of my legal career, I decided to establish my own firm in January, 2010. My vision was to assist people in getting out from under the heavy burden of their financial and emotional difficulties and to provide them with a fresh start. My focus is on both consumer bankruptcy law and family law.
Most recently I have helped clients to avoid a foreclosure sale and save their home. I have also helped clients to avoid the lien on their second mortgage.

I enjoy working in a field of the law that enables me to make a significant change in people's lives and to help them to receive the fresh start they deserve.
I like it when my clients take the time and interest in educating themselves about the legal issues they are facing. They become more empowered and motivated to resolve their legal problems; it also makes my job a lot easier.
It is my pleasure to review documents clients have prepared and provide my professional advice.
I am more than happy to meet with and discuss issues with clients who want to represent themselves in both family law and bankruptcy cases. Unfortunately, because of the strict nature of bankruptcy law, I cannot coach a person who represents themselves in a bankruptcy proceeding because I may become responsible for any mistakes they may make.
I have worked as an associate attorney for the Bloomfield Law Group in San Rafael, California. I continue to associate in with the Bloomfield Law Group on difficult cases. In addition, while in law school I worked as a law clerk at the Sacramento County Public Defender's office. Additionally, before attending law school I was a Paralegal for over 15 years, working at various firms and working in many areas of the legal field including: environmental law, criminal defense, civil litigation, family law, bankruptcy, estate planning, and professional malpractice.
All of my life experiences have contributed to making me the compassionate, caring attorney that I am; from my humble beginnings growing up in rural Northern California, to learning the ropes as a legal secretary and then paralegal, to the great education I received at Lincoln Law School, Sacramento. I believe that I learn a lot from listening and interacting with others.
My strength is the personal attention I give to each of my clients and each case that comes through my door. I work to find solutions to legal problems while zealously representing my clients in their legal matters.Personal interests:
I love all kinds of music and arts and enjoy attending concerts and festivals and spending time with my friends and family.
