Firm Overview

Established in April 2005, the Law Firm of Gary M. Singer, P.A. focuses its practice in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning, Lawsuits and Small to Medium Business Law. We work with domestic and international clients serving their Florida legal needs, with clients from the local area, throughout Florida and the United States, all the way from South America to Europe. We believe that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, but when disputes cannot be avoided, we work diligently for our clients through communication, negotiation, and as a last resort, litigation. This strategy has worked well for our clients and will work well for you.

Example cases

• We were able to stop a foreclosure case and obtain a loan modification for our clients who were close to losing their family home. This resolution enabled our clients to obtain a lower monthly payment, and to then go forward with a feasible bankruptcy plan, which allowed them to start fresh without outstanding debt thereby returning their lives back to normal.

• I have been named one of Florida Trend's "Legal Elite" and a "Super Lawyer". I'm an approved attorney for several Legal Insurers. These legal insurers include the Hyatt Legal Plan, ARAG Legal Insurance, and U.S. Legal, Legal Plan.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I knew prior to becoming a lawyer that I wanted a career helping real people. I quickly learned that Real Estate and Debtor Law provided the most opportunity to fulfill this vision.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

During my free consultation, I spend a substantial amount of time explaining to my client the essentials of the process. After the consultation, my clients feel comfortable with the knowledge they receive and options that are available to them.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I will gladly review client prepared documents in certain limited cases.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I do not recommend that a client represent themselves in a bankruptcy filing or foreclosure case as the consequences of making minor mistakes may be severe. However, I don't have a problem coaching clients, but only under certain circumstances where it is in the clients' best interest to do so.

Gary M. Singer

p>While serving in the U.S. Coast Guard as a Petty Officer with the Coast Guard's prestigious Tactical Law Enforcement Team, I learned through hard experience that people have crisis points and temporary tribulations throughout different stages of their life. My experience has shown me that the correct guidance from an experienced counselor can be the difference between a speed bump and a car wreck on the road of their life.

My clients always know they have access to me. I am honest with them at all times and they find that I am easy to communicate with and relate to. I don't try to hide bad news from my clients. I tell them up front and work with them to make the bad news better.

Personal interests:

I enjoy spending my time with my wife and two kids. I like to golf, travel, host charity events, and be outdoors as much as possible.
