Attorney Matthew S. Furness is a managing immigration attorney of Furness Law. Although Furness Law's principal office is located in Seattle Washington with a satellite office in Atlanta, Georgia, we represent immigration clients throughout the U.S. and worldwide. Furness Law's practice covers a range of immigration-related matters, primarily EB-5, employment based, global-outbound immigration, investment immigration, healthcare professional immigration, family-based immigration, asylum, naturalization, and removal/deportation proceedings.

With a background in Commercial Real Estate, Attorney Furness's EB-5 practice is focused on assisting real estate developers and other start-ups in acquiring capital through foreign investment and Regional Center approval. Attorney Furness also assists individual investors with their EB-5 investments for both direct EB-5 projects and EB-5 Regional Centers. Mr. Furness understands that locating a suitable investment and assisting each individual investor in assessing risk is just as important as a favorable immigration outcome.

Mr. Furness is a dedicated member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and volunteers his time representing asylum applicants through various pro bono organizations. Mr. Furness is often sought after by Criminal Defense attorneys seeking consultation on various criminal immigration issues.

Mr. Furness is admitted to practice before the Washington Supreme Court, the United States District Ct, Western District of Washington, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He graduated from the University of New Hampshire's Franklin Pierce Law Center, and received his Master of Law (LLM) from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
