Lawrence Ershaghi

Lawrence Ershaghi practices exclusively in immigration and nationality law. His interest in immigration law stems from his Middle Eastern heritage, and his desire to assist foreign nationals in contributing to our nation's economy and cultural diversity. He has experience with family, employment, and investor-based permanent residence, student visas, waivers of inadmissibility, naturalization, and relief from removal including political asylum, and cancellation of removal.

Lawrence received his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Irvine and his Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyer's Association, American Bar Association, and has performed pro bono work for the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Immigration Legal Assistance Project.

He is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar, but can advise and practice United States immigration cases in all 50 states and at American Embassies abroad because United States immigration law is "federal" law and not state law. Additionally, he is admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
