How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Emily was drawn to the personal service aspect of being an advocate in the Family Court.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

It is greatly beneficial to clients for them to be informed about the various legal issues with which they are involved. Clients who are knowledgeable and have a basic understanding of the legal process are better able to participate in the process. This participation helps alleviate some of the apprehension parties often feel when faced with a Family Court matter, and these clients often feel better about the results of their case because they have played an active role along the way.

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Our firm is willing to review documents or agreements reached between clients and the opposing party.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

Our firm is not willing to coach clients.
