Bankruptcy
Over 20 years experience handling consumer bankruptcy cases, both Chapter 7 and 13 cases.
A "quick" bankruptcy filing is dangerous. At Duke Law Firm, we go through your financial situation thoroughly and prepare your bankruptcy filing to meet tough court standards. While many cases arrive at court a mess and cause the parties unnecessary stress, problems, and additional court appearances, we take the time to ensure your court date will go as smoothly as possible. Your bankruptcy will be completely professionally and get you on the road to financial recovery and good credit.
Divorce
We offer personal attention for difficult legal matters, and no situation can be more trying than a divorce. We have over 20 years helping individuals through matrimonial cases.
When you are contemplating or facing a divorce, you may have many questions. What will my life look like afterward? What will I keep, what will I pay and what will I be paid? If there are children from the marriage, your attention might be mainly focused on child custody concerns. The more layers there are to your case, the more essential it is that you turn to a skilled lawyer who has successfully represented a vast array of family law clients. If you need an attorney for contested and uncontested divorce cases, you can turn to Susan K. Duke at Duke Law Firm, P.C. We serve clients in Livingston, Wyoming, Monroe, Steuben, Ontario, Allegany, Genesee and Wayne Counties.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

My experience and professional focus set me apart from other attorneys:
Over 18 years of success: Since 1996, I have guided clients through virtually every aspect of the bankruptcy and family law system.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

I consider communication to be a key aspect of the lawyer-client relationship, which is why I return phone calls and emails promptly. My clients have recognized my concern and commitment, such as one who said, "It was a bad time in my life, but [Susan Duke] listened to me and provided good advice and helped me get through it." Duke Law Firm, P.C., knows what it takes to help you through your bankruptcy or divorce, too.

Only two practice areas: By concentrating exclusively on family law and bankruptcy, I have been able to continually develop my skills and enhance my ability to achieve the best possible result in your case.

Flat fees: For many of our cases, we are able to offer flat fees, without hidden costs, so you know exactly how much you will pay for our services.
