How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

We are a group of individuals who are dedicated to improving the lives of disabled Americans.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

Attorney Shaneela Marlett is not only a disability specialist, but she has a degree in Psychology. She has spent the last 15 years working extensively with disabled children and young adults. She has also worked as a career counselor and therapist. This gives her a strong edge when it comes to understanding how disabilities impair an individual's ability to work. In her spare time, Ms. Marlett volunteers at homeless clinics, low cost/no cost social service clinics, and she speaks at medical conventions so that doctors can understand how to help their patient's pursue disability benefits. Disability law is Ms. Marlett's passion, and that is what truly distinguishes her as an attorney. Over the years, she has gained a reputation among Judges and experts as a true advocate for the disabled.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

It's simple. If you find yourself unable to work due to a disability, we are here for you. If you are frustrated and confused by Social Security's denials and forms, we can help. When you are ready to speak with a real advocate, someone who knows the law and will be on your side...call Marlett law. We understand the process, we care for our communities, and we are here to help you win your case.
