Bez Law Firm, PC

Firm Overview

Established in May 2008 as a solo practice. We now have two attorneys, a paralegal, and support staff.

At the Bez Law Firm in Sacramento, our clients have come to expect personalized attention, honest advice and fully committed courtroom representation. We are a small law firm, and that is by design. We form personal relationships with our clients and take their legal issues personally.

We litigate family law cases, which involve legal issues that deeply affect people both financially and emotionally. Our goal, at every step of the process, is to protect our clients' interests, whether they are going through a divorce, proceeding, or financial litigation such as for child or spousal support.

Example cases

I have worked with victims of domestic violence to obtain initial and extended restraining orders against their abusers, and I have handled many difficult custody cases sometimes involving abuse against children. I have experience in both high conflict and amicable dissolutions. I have also represented both parents and grandparents in grandparent visitation cases, as well as sought and obtained "de facto" parent status for third parties in custody disputes.

At the Bez Law Firm, we offer a personalized initial consultation so that you can have an opportunity to meet us. When your financial and emotional well-being is at stake in the legal proceeding, your choice of a law firm to represent you is an important decision. We try our best with all of our clients to guide them through the legal system with compassion and dedication, and strive to make the process as easy on them as possible.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

I enjoy it.

What is your firm's point of view regarding clients educating themselves on legal issues?

I think clients should always be informed through research and it's my job to help them find answers

Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

I typically do not review documents prepared by clients but may be willing to do so for my normal hourly rate on a limited basis.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

I think that all clients need to understand the legal issues/procedures involved in their case and am willing to work with clients so that at some point they will be able to handle routine legal procedures on their own potentially without need of an attorney. A prime candidate for such help would be litigants in non-contentious custody disputes.
