Ing Maurstad was born and raised in Beatrice, Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, and his law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law. After graduation, he served as an active duty Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Maurstad joined the firm as an Associate in 2010 and in January 2011, he became a partner.
Mr. Maurstad is actively involved in public service, serving on the board of directors of the Gage County United Way and Main Street Beatrice. Since 2009, Mr. Maurstad has served in the Nebraska Air National Guard as a U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate, and currently holds the rank of Major.
Mr. Maurstad has been licensed to practice law in the state of Nebraska since 2003. Mr. Maurstad is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of Nebraska and Nebraska State Courts.
Mr. Maurstad's representation of client's focuses on the following areas: estate planning and probate, representation of business and corporate entities, real estate matters, family law, criminal law and general civil litigation.
