We also represent people injured due to slip and fall accidents. These accidents can be very serious, resulting in severe injuries to the head or back. In some cases, these accidents can cause death. We entrust the care of our parents and elderly relatives to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Unfortunately, some of these care providers are not as careful as they should be. Sometimes, they allow their business needs to lead to understaffing or untrained employees.

Elder abuse is the neglect, exploitation, or "painful or harmful" mistreatment of anyone who is 65 years old or older (or anyone aged 18 to 64 who falls under the legal definition of a "dependent adult"). Some signs of elder abuse include malnutrition, dehydration, bed sores, unexplained bruises, or unexplained emotional withdrawal.
