Constance Mann, Esq.

Firm Overview

Constance Mann was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She attended Maryville, High School, where she ran track, and competed in gymnastics. Connie attended the University of Tennessee for both her undergraduate and law school degrees. Connie is a Volunteer both by genes and choice. Her father was a football star at UT in the 60's, who was mentored by General Neyland and coached by Doug Dickey. It is not surprising that she attended as many football games as possible. While in school, Connie was also on the University of Tennessee gymnastics team.

Upon graduation, Connie moved to Los Angeles, California with her husband. In LA, Connie had a successful career and litigation success. Focusing on employment law, workers compensation, and general liability, Connie represented large companies and governmental entities with great success. Some of her governmental clients included the County of Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles, and Ventura County. Her private clients included AIG, Travelers, Ralphs (Kroger), Verizon and several Warren Buffet insurance companies. In California, Connie won over fifty trials, where she was first chair attorney. A variety of these cases are outlined in this site in the "relevant experience" section. She has argued in front of two California Appellate Courts, the California Supreme Court, and the Tennessee Court of Appeals.
When Connie's daughter was born, it was time to come home to Tennessee. With her husband and daughter, she relocated in 2010, and in 2013 opened her own firm. This firm gives the client an alternative to high rise and marble. This firm is for the client who wants experience and success without the frills and the costs associated with them.

Employers carry a great responsibility to uphold the Family Medical Leave Act and to protect their employees from retaliation when trying to enforce their rights.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

We have long believed the employer and employee relationship is one of the most important to the productivity of a company, and for the well being and success of the employee.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others

We have over 25 years of experience representing large employers, large insurance companies, and governmental entities in one of the biggest markets. In this way, we understand the goals and priorities of all parties involved. In this way, we can think outside the box, take advantage of timing, and make early calls on viable litigation strategy.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

I have over 50 trial wins in one of the biggest markets in the United States (Los Angeles). I have worked at the large law firms with marble floors and high rises. We have decided that our clients are best served by humble surroundings, but a lawyer who is accessible, returns phone calls, and makes every effort to move cases along.

We operate under the philosophy that word of mouth and good service are more important than television exposure and ads.
