She completed internships with The Honorable Graham C. Mullen, U.S. District Judge for the Western District of North Carolina and The Honorable Fred Morrison, Jr., North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings. Adeline graduated cum laude from the University of Virginia with degrees in English and Spanish.
