I am currently a partner in the second law firm I co-founded in White Plains, Westchester County, New York. My partner, Joyce Danziger, and I had known each other for seven years and were opponents on a divorce case. I realized her skills and talent would compliment mine and we decided to form a partnership that has proven to be effective for our clients and enjoyable for each of us.
Our firm is dedicated to the practice of matrimonial and family law. We represent clients in divorce, separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, equitable distribution, out-of-court settlements, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, child support modifications, and child custody relocation.
Due to attorney-client confidentiality, I cannot share any details about prior cases.

I found that helping people through divorces and family issues is very fulfilling and rewarding. In my opinion, there is no other area of law where you get to know your clients on such a personal level. I enjoy the relationships that are formed with my clients.
A client must be well-informed about their legal issues. If they supplement their knowledge in addition to the information I provide them, it shows me that they are taking their case seriously.
Yes, I believe that is a great way for a client to take a hands-on approach to his or her case, while helping to save legal fees. It is usually less time-consuming to edit documents than to draft them from scratch. We often ask our clients to contribute to the drafting and editing of documents. Family law is very personal and nobody knows the intimate details of our clients' lives better than the client themselves.
Yes, under certain circumstances, I have assisted clients who are in mediation.
I started practicing law with my father and from the second day was working on matrimonial and family law cases. In 1994, I relocated to Fairfield County, Connecticut and started practicing in White Plains, Westchester County, New York. I was an associate and partner in two other law firms prior to Danziger & Mangold LLP.
Hands-on work experience is integral to becoming a good lawyer. Like most endeavors, the more you practice something, the more you progress and develop. Negotiating and litigating in the areas of matrimonial law and family law for over 23 years has been essential to my professional development. My experience in White Plains, Westchester County, New York has also been helpful to develop relationships with other family attorneys and learn the local judges and rules.
I have patience and fortitude. I find these attributes help me in both negotiation and litigation. Although divorces and family law cases can get ugly, I think it is important to maintain civility throughout any case. I will fight hard for my client's rights, but I believe in treating all attorneys and parties with the same respect that I want to be treated with.Personal interests:
My highest priority is spending time with my two daughters and my wife. Other interests include skiing, any good beach, classic automobiles, collecting Las Vegas memorabilia, and traveling in the United States. I have driven cross country at least eight times.
