Expertise Around the New Jersey Court System & Legal Process - After receiving her law degree from the SUNY Buffalo Law School, Attorney Choi-Bose served as a Judicial Law Clerk for The Honorable Rochelle Gizinski in the Superior Court of New Jersey. The clerkship experience was invaluable; it helped her acquire an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the court system and legal process in New Jersey.
Exposure to a Wide Range of Civil Practice Areas - Following her clerkship, Attorney Choi-Bose focused her practice around providing legal and advocacy services to individuals with disabilities, with an emphasis on those most vulnerable and needy. Working around independence and quality of life issues for this group has allowed her to practice across a wide area of civil law in New Jersey public entitlements, housing advocacy, consumer law, family law, and discrimination.
Flexible Fees - Attorney Choi-Bose is always willing to consider taking a case on a contingency basis, where the client is not charged attorneys' fees unless there is a recovery. If you believe you have a claim and would like an attorney to review it, call or visit the office and she would be happy to discuss it with you. With a consultation with Attorney Choi-Bose, you will learn how she can assist you in your legal needs. She will conduct a thorough evaluation and help you decide on the best approach so that you obtain the results you need.
Attorney Choi-Bose's philosophy around litigation is "preventive lawyering." Where appropriate, she takes pride in her ability to assist her clients in resolving a civil law dispute without necessarily resorting to litigation. Attorney Choi-Bose's clients benefit from her experience in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration, which many times are quicker and less costly then traditional courtroom litigation.
We believe that an individual can often save substantial money by doing certain things without an attorney. However, when it comes to a person representing oneself in court and particularly at trial, neither the courts nor the juries take a person as seriously when representing oneself and in litigation, a person should hire an attorney to make sure their rights are protected and asserted fully. Countless individuals get slaughtered in court because they do not know the procedural rules. Judges do not help the unrepresented. Even skilled lawyers find it difficult to represent oneself. Our emotions make it very hard to be detached enough to represent ourselves. This is where Choi-Bose Law can help - We will represent you in trials, hearings, arbitrations and/or mediations before administrative agencies, federal, state and local courts across the state of New Jersey.
