For over three decades, John Cheadle has served as a Court-appointed Receiver or Liquidating Trustee of businesses and commercial properties, including apartment complexes, condominium projects, automobile dealerships, office buildings, shopping centers, a cable television company and many others.

John Cheadle

John R. Cheadle, Jr. graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois with a BA in 1975 and earned his Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee in 1978. He is AV-Preeminent rated by Martindale-Hubbell's peer evaluation service and has an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration. He has had comprehensive experience in representing business creditors in state and bankruptcy court. As a frequent lecturer in enforcing creditors' rights, John Cheadle's practice emphasizes collection law, lender representation, receiverships, corporate defense and aviation law. John R. Cheadle, Jr. is one of the founding members of the Tennessee Supreme Court Historical Society.

Karen S. Schnupp

Karen S. Schnupp is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, as an undergraduate in 1982 and from the law school in 1985. Since that time, she has been a member of the Tennessee Bar practicing creditor's rights law throughout East Tennessee. She is a frequent lecturer in the areas of creditor's rights and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Ms. Schnupp is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Commercial Law League of America.

Dubley A. Cheadle

Dudley A. Cheadle, another Cheadle sibling, was born in Franklin, Tennessee in 1967. He joined the practice in 2005. Mr. Cheadle graduated from Belmont University in 1993 and received his Juris Doctor from Nashville School of Law in 2004. Mr. Cheadle also practices extensively in creditor representation.

Mary K. Barnard was born in Nashville, Tennessee on July 30, 1980. After having been admitted to the bar in 2008, she joined the Cheadle | Law offices.
