Hochberg & DiRienzo P.A. is a Broward County firm concentrating in the areas of tenant evictions and landlord tenant matters. We handle evictions around the state of Florida from our Fort Lauderdale office. Our premise is to provide legal representation at affordable rates. We have a small but efficient firm and a hands-on approach to handling all our cases. Hochberg & DiRienzo P.A. was founded in 1997. We are committed to providing representation at affordable rates.Example cases
I have handled every aspect of the eviction process whether the tenant has a lease or is a month-to-month tenant. I have dealt with some unique situations where someone climbed in the window of an apartment and put clothes in the closet and pictures on the dresser and the police believed they lived there and would not remove them. There are also cases of unscrupulous people who do not own the unit advertising the unit for rent on Craig's list and putting someone in possession without the owner being aware of this. I had to evict these types of people who paid someone other than the owner because the police will not get involved and they say it is a civil matter. Sometimes the tenants are violating clauses in the lease that do not have to do with rent and the landlord needs help dealing with those issues, which I also handle. There are some situations where a guest or relative decides they are not leaving your house and you cannot just put their belongings outside because the police will make you let them back in. In that case I have to do a special type of case, similar to eviction, because they do not have a rental relationship with the owner. My office helps landlords who find themselves in various situations involving their tenants and their rental properties.

I chose to practice landlord tenant law because I am also a landlord. I can relate to what my clients are going through and I help them to reach their goals.
I try to explain the whole eviction timeline to my clients so they can be part of the process. As the different steps are necessary, we update the clients every part of the way. The end result is the tenant is out of the premises or they decide to pay everything they owe, and stay as a tenant. We do what is best for the landlord in that particular situation.
The client often prepares the three-day notice which is the first step in the eviction process. We review this notice to make sure it is done properly and if not, we redo it. Then they hire us to proceed with the eviction process.
If a client starts their own eviction, and does not know how to finish it we are happy to charge a fee to do the rest of the paperwork and finish the case. Also, if a client files their own case and needs court representation, they can hire me to attend a hearing or mediation with them. This way the client gets the benefit of having someone with experience attend the Court proceeding with them so they will not be alone.
Previously I handled real estate closings, bankruptcy and employment law.
I am straightforward and say it like it is which saves my clients time and money.
I take a personal interest in all my cases and try to complete the evictions as quickly as possible because the landlords are losing money every day that the tenant stays in their property without paying rent.Personal interests:
My personal interests include traveling and my love of animals.
