How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Calvin A. Edwards, Jr. founded CAEJ Law, P.C. as a result of what he felt was improper or inadequate representation by existing Personal Injury Law Firms. All too often clients are treated without respect and more like a number than a valued law firm client. These same lawyers rarely speak directly with their clients, if at all, and certainly not on a regular basis. When they do speak with their clients, they talk down to them and at as if the lawyer is doing the client a favor by representing him or her.
At CAEJ Law, P.C., we understand that clients rely on their attorney to not only maximize their settlement, but also to provide just representation. Clients depend on their attorney to not only give them sound legal advice but also to work closely with them throughout the entire representation. We often wonder how a lawyer can adequately represent a client without having spoken to that client on a regular basis.
Our firm promises you that you will not be treated with anything but the utmost respect and sincerity. All of your questions and concerns will be answered and you will regular communications with the attorney handling your case. This mission statement is for all of our past, present and future clients.
To show that we are different, here is what we promise our clients:
Immediate access to the attorney handling your case, not just a secretary or legal assistant who won't be able to answer your questions. We promise our clients that anyone who speaks to you about your case will be familiar with both you and your case. You will never be just a file number in our office. You can reach us direct at 470-539-8528 by phone or text or by email at Our office will transfer you immediately to our experienced personal injury attorney who is handling your case and who can answer your questions.
We will always tell you the truth. We will never sell you a promise of a huge financial windfall only to deliver something entirely different. We will sit with you and evaluate your case and tell you what is possible and what the likely scenarios will be. We do not sell promises of large settlements and verdicts. We will tell you the truth and help you understand all the factors involved in a personal injury case so you can make the best decision.
We will always put your interests first. We will never push you to accept a low-ball offer just so we can keep our good relationship with the insurance adjuster. Insurance companies who we deal with know that we will always fight for what's best for our clients and that the all decisions will be based on the facts of the case and nothing else. That is why our firm spends a great deal of time getting to know our clients and their situations so we can accurately convey the facts and get the results our clients deserve.
Any call you make to us will be returned. We understand the frustration of not having phone calls returned. Being a victim of an accident is hard enough. We will make sure that we are available to answer your questions and help you through these tough times.
You will always be informed throughout the entire process. You will be up-to date and informed through our exclusive client portal which you can access from a computer or your device.
We sincerely appreciate the opportunity to serve you. It has been our absolute pleasure to provide legal assistance to all of our personal injury clients. Our mission and goal will always be to give you a voice in your case and to empower you with the information to stand against the insurance companies. We look forward to helping you!
