Ronald E. Bush

Ron Bush received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Union College in 1981 and Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 1984. Ron is currently the managing shareholder of Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A. Prior to joining the Firm as a shareholder in 1995, Ron practiced as a Senior Litigation Associate in the New York firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. From 1991 until 1995, Ron was a shareholder in the Tampa firm of Shackleford, Farrior, Stallings & Evans, P.A.

Ron has significant jury trial experience which includes state and federal court jury trials of numerous personal injury, professional liability and property damage actions. Ron has focused his practice on the defense of personal injury claims, products liability claims, professional liability claims of all types, health care related matters, long-term care, bad faith claims and insurance coverage disputes. Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory has awarded Ron an "AV" rating. He has been included on the Florida Super Lawyers list from 2008 - 2012.

A member of the Florida Bar, Ron is also a member of the New York State Bar, District of Columbia Bar, United States District Court for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Ron is the Florida lead state chairperson of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance, and the Vice Regional Chairperson for the Southeastern United States, as well as Tampa Area Chair of the Florida Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Ron has also completed the Litigation Management Institute hosted by Columbia Law School earning the designation of Certified Litigation Management Professional. He has also served as the Chairperson of the Hillsborough County Civil Service Board, as a member of the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, and on the Florida Bar Grievance Committee, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County. Ron was selected to the Leadership Tampa Class of 1998 by the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.

Angela Carter Cabassa

Angela Cabassa attended the University of Florida, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1991. In 1995, she received her Juris Doctorate with honors from the Florida State University College of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review.

Prior to joining Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A. in September 2004, Angela was a Senior Cabinet Aide for the State of Florida and a litigation attorney for two other Tampa area firms.
Angela is a member of the Florida Bar, the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Carrollwood Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.

Natalie J. Davy

Natalie Davy graduated magna cum laude in 2004, from Florida State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Social Science and English. She received her Juris Doctor with honors in 2008, from The University of Florida College of Law.

Before becoming associated with Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A., in March 2011, Natalie was an associate attorney with the Tampa law firm of Bricklemyer, Smolker & Bolves, P.A.

Dominick J. Graziano

Dominick J. Graziano received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of Toledo in 1980. He was awarded his Juris Doctorate degree in 1983 from the University of Toledo College of Law, where he served as Executive Editor of the Law Review. Upon graduating from law school, Dominick associated with the Toledo firm of Marshall & Melhorn. In 1990, Dominick became a partner with the Tampa office of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn, and in 1992, founded the Tampa firm of Hearne Graziano & Nader as a shareholder. He joined Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A. as a shareholder in 1999. In 2012, Dominick became "Of Counsel."

Dominick has litigation experience in state and federal courts, and in administrative proceedings under state and federal administrative procedure acts. He is rated "AV" by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Dominick has handled litigation involving environmental cases, intellectual property, toxic torts, inverse condemnation claims, civil and criminal securities actions, class actions, product liability and medical malpractice claims.

Over his career he has made local and national presentations on environmental law and litigation for the Florida Bar and American Bar Association. Dominick served as a Commissioner on the Appellate Court Performance Standards Committee for the National Center for State Courts from 1994 to 2000. He served as a member of the Hillsborough County Industrial Developmental Authority from 1996 until 2008.

Holly B. Platter

Holly Platter received her Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley College in 1983, and Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law in 1995, following a professional career in broadcasting and media relations. Prior to joining Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A., as a shareholder in 2010, Holly was a shareholder with Akerman Senterfitt, LLP.

Holly has considerable experience defending medical malpractice claims as well as handling complex litigation cases including class actions and mass tort litigation.
A member of the Florida, Utah, Massachusetts and New York Bars, Holly is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah and the United States Supreme Court. She is a member of the American Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute, the Florida Hospital Association and the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. Erin B. Reynolds

Erin B. Reynolds is an associate attorney with Bush Graziano Rice & Platter. She was raised in the Tampa Bay Area and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Florida State University in 2002. While attending Florida State University, Erin was an active member of Mortar Board National Honor Society, Student Alumni Association, and Greek Ambassadors. Erin received her law degree from Mercer University in 2006. While at Mercer, Erin clerked at the District Attorney's Office for Bibb County, volunteered at the Legal Services Clinic, competed in oral argument competitions, was an officer in Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity, and several other campus and community organizations. Erin was admitted to the Florida Bar in September 2006.

Erin joined Bush Graziano Rice & Platter in July 2007. She is a member of the Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association, and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. H. Hamilton (Chip) Rice III

Chip Rice received his Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy in 1982 and was commissioned as an Armor officer in the United States Army. He served six years on active duty and resigned his commission as a Captain in 1988 to attend the University of Kentucky College of Law. While attending law school, Chip was selected as a Notes Editor of the University of Kentucky Law Review. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1991. Upon graduation, he began his practice with a large law firm in Nashville, Tennessee and subsequently moved to Tampa in 1993.

Chip is an experienced trial attorney whose practice is focused on the defense of products liability claims, with an emphasis on children's products, medical malpractice, long-term health care and general and premises liability claims. He has tried a number of cases to verdict in Florida in both state and federal court. He is rated "AV" by the Martindale Hubbell Law Directory, was named to the Florida Super Lawyers lists from 2008-2012, and Florida Trend Legal Elite 2012.

Karen Shimonsky

Karen Shimonsky attended the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism in 2008. She received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2011.

After graduating from law school, Karen practiced as an associate attorney specializing in the areas of professional liability, nursing home defense litigation, insurance defense and appellate law.

Karen joined Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A. as an associate attorney in 2013. She is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Her practice focuses on appellate law, and on the defense of long-term care, medical malpractice and products liability cases.

Katherine Mikel

Katherine Mikel received undergraduate degrees, cum laude, in Business Administration and Public Relations from the University of Florida. She earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2007 from the University of Miami School of Law.

Before becoming associated with Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A., in 2013, Katherine was an Assistant Public Defender at the Office of the Public Defender, 13th Judicial Circuit. She also clerked for the Honorable W. Matthew Stevenson at the Fourth District Court of Appeal.
Katherine is a member of the Florida Bar. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Katherine's practice focuses on the defense of medical malpractice and products liability cases.

Anthony M. Iannacio

Tony received a Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors, from the University of Connecticut in 1977 and his Juris Doctorate from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 1981. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1982 (inactive) and Florida Bar in 1998. Prior to moving to Florida in 1998, Tony practiced as a partner with the law firm of Baker, Worthington, Crossley, Stansberry & Woolf and as a shareholder with the law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, & Caldwell P.C.

Tony has significant experience in defending medical malpractice, products liability, longterm care and catastrophic loss claims, including class actions and mass tort litigation.

Since 1987, Tony has been rated "AV" by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory.

Tony focuses his practice on complex commercial and litigation matters as well as marital and family law, concentrating on complex dissolution of marriage actions, including tax and asset valuation issues. Tony is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of Florida.

Brandon T. Kuhn

Brandon Kuhn received his undergraduate degree in Sports Management and Business Administration from the University of Florida. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2006 from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. For six years following law school, Brandon practiced as an Assistant State Attorney with the 13th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office in Tampa, FL. While an Assistant State Attorney, Brandon was Lead Trial Attorney with the Sex Offender Division for several years. During this time he tried over 50 cases before a jury, including cases for attempted murder, capital sexual battery, armed robbery, burglary and narcotics. Prior to joining Bush Graziano Rice & Platter as an associate in 2013, Brandon practiced as a criminal defense attorney at a Tampa law firm, where he represented clients in criminal matters in both State and Federal Courts. Brandon is a member of the Florida Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Brandon's practice focuses on the defense of long-term care and medical malpractice cases, as well as products liability.

Jessica N. Cochran

Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Florida. She earned her Juris Doctorate in 2011 from the University of South Carolina School of Law in Columbia, South Carolina. Following law school, Jessica was associated with a Tampa law firm where she practiced in the areas of medical malpractice, premises liability and professional malpractice litigation.

In 2014, Jessica joined Bush Graziano Rice & Platter as an associate attorney. Her practice includes the defense of medical malpractice and long-term care cases.

Jessica is a member of the Florida Bar and the South Carolina Bar.
