Ron Bush received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Union College in 1981 and Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 1984. Ron is currently the managing shareholder of Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A. Prior to joining the Firm as a shareholder in 1995, Ron practiced as a Senior Litigation Associate in the New York firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. From 1991 until 1995, Ron was a shareholder in the Tampa firm of Shackleford, Farrior, Stallings & Evans, P.A.

Ron has significant jury trial experience which includes state and federal court jury trials of numerous personal injury, professional liability and property damage actions. Ron has focused his practice on the defense of personal injury claims, products liability claims, professional liability claims of all types, health care related matters, long-term care, bad faith claims and insurance coverage disputes. Karen Shimonsky attended the University of Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism in 2008. She received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2011.

After graduating from law school, Karen practiced as an associate attorney specializing in the areas of professional liability, nursing home defense litigation, insurance defense and appellate law.

Karen joined Bush Graziano Rice & Platter, P.A. as an associate attorney in 2013. She is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida. Her practice focuses on appellate law, and on the defense of long-term care, medical malpractice and products liability cases.

Katherine Mikel received undergraduate degrees, cum laude, in Business Administration and Public Relations from the University of Florida. She earned her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, in 2007 from the University of Miami School of Law.

He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1982 (inactive) and Florida Bar in 1998. Prior to moving to Florida in 1998, Tony practiced as a partner with the law firm of Baker, Worthington, Crossley, Stansberry & Woolf and as a shareholder with the law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, & Caldwell P.C.

Tony has significant experience in defending medical malpractice, products liability, longterm care and catastrophic loss claims, including class actions and mass tort litigation.

Brandon T. Kuhn

Brandon Kuhn received his undergraduate degree in Sports Management and Business Administration from the University of Florida. He earned his Juris Doctorate in 2006 from Mercer University, Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. For six years following law school, Brandon practiced as an Assistant State Attorney with the 13th Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office in Tampa, FL. While an Assistant State Attorney, Brandon was Lead Trial Attorney with the Sex Offender Division for several years. During this time he tried over 50 cases before a jury, including cases for attempted murder, capital sexual battery, armed robbery, burglary and narcotics. Prior to joining Bush Graziano Rice & Platter as an associate in 2013, Brandon practiced as a criminal defense attorney at a Tampa law firm, where he represented clients in criminal matters in both State and Federal Courts.
