Kenneth R. Brown received his law degree from the J. Reuben Clark College of Law at Brigham Young University in 1978. Mark Moffat is one of the founding members of Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, LLP. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 1987.

From 1988 to 1997, Mark worked as a trial lawyer at the Salt Lake Legal Defender's Office. During his time at the Legal Defender's office, Mark represented clients charged with a wide variety of criminal acts ranging from simple misdemeanors to felonies to death penalty offenses. In 1995, Mark Moffat was appointed to head the Legal Defender's Serious Youth Offender Division.

In 1998, Mark Moffat and his partners founded the law firm of Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat. Focused exclusively on criminal defense, his practice includes misdemeanors and felonies, white collar cases, professional licensing and criminal matters in the juvenile justice system.

Ann Marie Taliaferro

Ann Marie ("Annie") Taliaferro has practiced with Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, LLP, since graduating from law school in 2000. She recently became a partner/shareholder in July of 2015. Since 2000, Ann's practice has included criminal defense trial work, criminal appeals, and post-conviction advocacy.

As a member of the Utah State Bar, Ann is licensed to practice before all Utah state and federal courts. She is also licensed to practice before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

While in law school, he was an editor of the school's Journal of Land, Resources, and Environmental Law. Prior to graduation, he worked as a law clerk at the United States Attorney's Office in the criminal division and later at the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association in the appellate division. Ann Marie Taliaferro

Ann Marie ("Annie") Taliaferro has practiced with Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, LLP, since graduating from law school in 2000. She recently became a partner/shareholder in July of 2015. Since 2000, Ann's practice has included criminal defense trial work, criminal appeals, and post-conviction advocacy.

As a member of the Utah State Bar, Ann is licensed to practice before all Utah state and federal courts. She is also licensed to practice before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Before attending law school, Ann was a high school teacher and coach. She received her Juris Doctorate from S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah and was a William H. Leary Scholar. While in law school, she served as a staff writer and Note and Comment editor of the Utah Law Review.

While in law school and prior to joining Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, LLP, as an associate, Ann was a law clerk for the Utah Attorney General's Office Criminal Appeals Division and the United States Attorney's Office. In college, she also completed a summer internship at the Supreme Court of the United States, Office of the Curator.

Utah Business Magazine named Ann as an "Up and Coming Legal Elite" in 2009 and 2010, and she was also designated a "Mountain States Rising Star" in 2009 and 2010 by Super Lawyers. Michael Holje has been an attorney at Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, LLP since 2003. His practice includes criminal defense, related administrative and professional licensing matters, and actions before the Utah Board of Pardons and Parole. He regularly defends both felony and misdemeanor charges, including sex offenses, assault, domestic violence, theft, DUI, and drug and alcohol offenses.

Michael graduated as a William H. Leary Scholar from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. While in law school, he was an editor of the school's Journal of Land, Resources, and Environmental Law. Prior to graduation, he worked as a law clerk at the United States Attorney's Office in the criminal division and later at the Salt Lake Legal Defenders Association in the appellate division. Michael joined Brown, Bradshaw & Moffat, LLP after graduating from law school.
