Filing a bankruptcy petition may stop foreclosures, lawsuits, and/or garnishments. A bankruptcy may also eliminate or reduce payments on certain debts including credit cards, medical bills, unsecured loans, and pay day loans. Even certain tax debts (depending on the type of debt) may be eliminated or paid inside a Chapter 13 payment plan. A Chapter 13 payment plan may also allow you to bring your mortgage current and reduce the interest rate on a car loan.

Please call (919) 268-6448 to speak with an Attorney if you have questions or would like to set up a consultation. Most consultations are free.

We are a debt relief agency. We help people file for bankruptcy relief under the Bankruptcy Code. Filing is subject to qualification

Eileen Bornstein

Eileen grew up in Washington, D.C. and nearby Bethesda, Maryland before following her older sister and moving to Raleigh in 1996. After moving to North Carolina for school, Eileen never looked back, and proudly claims Raleigh as her home.

Eileen obtained her Juris Doctor from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. While in law school, Eileen received the Order of Barristers for her work on the trial team, was a member of Pi Alpha Delta, and served as secretary for the Legal Runarounds.

Since graduating, Eileen has primarily focused her legal practice on bankruptcy law. She is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in both Business and Consumer Bankruptcy Law with over 10 years experience in bankruptcy matters.

Eileen is admitted to practice in the Eastern and Middle Districts of North Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), and the Wake County Bar Association.

Outside of the office, Eileen enjoys running, hiking, swimming, art, and spending time with friends and family. It is also important to her to find time to contribute to her community through various volunteer programs, including providing food and other necessities to those in need and participation in Habitat for Humanity projects.
