What distinguishes your law firm from others?

The attorneys at Bohn & Fletcher, LLP believe in securing maximum recovery for our clients while giving them the respect and personalized attention they deserve. Our attorneys are assisted by a strong and friendly support staff that promptly answer your questions about the progress and status of your case. The dedicated professionalism of our staff frees up the attorneys to prepare and present your case in a highly skilled and expert manner. However, our attorneys are always accessible if necessary to answer your questions directly. Our dedication to client service results in many new clients being referred to Bohn & Fletcher by former clients and other attorneys. On occasion people who have served as jurors in our trials have later sought representation by us. When you are a Bohn & Fletcher client, your case is important to us, not just another file in the office. Every client we represent will have his or her case handled by an experienced partner at our law firm, a not lower-level attorney or paralegal.

We also believe in full and fair compensation for all damages caused by another party's negligence. If the responsible parties do not make reasonable settlement offers, we are ready and willing to go to trial. Because of our extensive trial experience, we have received multiple six and seven figure jury verdicts. Whereas many firms and lawyers will fear trial work, our lawyers are committed trial advocates prepared to present our clients' cases to juries if a reasonable settlement cannot be achieved. As a result, our clients regularly receive excellent settlement offers because insurance companies know we have the experience, resources and ability to win cases at trial.

Bohn & Fletcher, LLP
Ram Fletcher

Ram Fletcher has been recognized by clients, attorneys and judges alike for his skill as a trial lawyer and the outstanding results he has secured for his clients and their families. Ram has successfully represented people in serious injury, abuse, and death cases, as well as people who have been harassed, discriminated against or retaliated against at work. He has prosecuted cases in state and federal trial courts as well as in administrative and arbitration proceedings. In 2016 he achieved one of California's Top-10 verdicts when a jury awarded his client over $45.1 Million in compensatory and punitive damages in a wrongful death case.

While Ram is gratified by the millions of dollars he has recovered for the people he has helped, he takes greater satisfaction in having been able to make a difference in their lives and, in turn, their appreciation for being treated with respect and dignity. Ram's clients appreciate that he listens to them and responds to their needs, while striving to honor and protect their interests.

In addition to promoting justice through representation of his individual clients, Ram has taken a leadership role in advancing systemic changes that aid the community. He has acted as President of the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association (SCCTLA) and served many years on the SCCTLA Board of Governors. He has also been elected as the San Jose regional representative on the Board of Trustees for the Santa Clara County Bar Association (SCCBA) and appointed by the SCCBA President to its Executive Committee. Ram is a member of the SCCBA Diversity Committee and was selected as Co-Chair of the Bay Area Minority Summer Clerkship Program, a project providing law students from underrepresented communities opportunities to gain legal experience. Additionally, Ram is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), the largest trial lawyer organization in the state and the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the largest national trial lawyer organization. His firm was asked to join the prestigious AAJ Leaders Forum, the only law firm in San Jose to receive this distinction. From 2013 to 2015, Ram was proud to be selected as a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers, a distinction awarded to less than three percent of eligible attorneys. In 2016 he was selected for inclusion on the list of Northern California Super Lawyers. He was also invited and recognized as a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers for Northern California in 2015. In 2015, Ram was further honored with membership in the prestigious Million Dollar Advocates Forum. In 2017 Ram became a Fellow with Litigation Counsel of America, an honor limited to only 3,500 attorneys nationwide (less than one half of one percent). He was also admitted as a member of The National Association of Distinguished Counsel Top One Percent in 2017.

Ram frequently lectures at Santa Clara University where he often volunteers as a judge for moot court sessions held by the Advocacy program at the law school. In his free time, Ram enjoys sports, listening to music and reading philosophy.

Robert Bohn, Jr.

Rob Bohn grew up the son of a prominent San Jose personal injury lawyer. It's in his blood. Rob studied in college as a major in psychology because he was interested in people, how they think, how they feel, how they work. He was interested in a career helping and counseling people. He realized he could use this background, knowledge and interest in the field of personal injury law, a field with which he was already familiar having worked in law firms during summers past.

Rob had the good fortune of being able to pick the brain of one of the foremost personal injury lawyers in San Jose learning best practices on the one hand and from others' mistakes on the other. He has been able to find legal routes to significant recoveries in cases other lawyers have rejected. He has a creative legal mind. He handled his own cases from the start of his career and has done so every since now having successfully represented hundreds of clients.

Rob has drafted and lobbied proposed bills to be taken up by the State of California and has testified in Sacramento for bills intended to help people injured or killed by others.

Rob has held leadership positions in the law having been President of the Santa Clara County Trial Lawyers Association and having served on the state trial lawyers board of governors for years.

Rob's results and reputation speak for themselves and are why he has been recognized as one of the best by his peers, judges and many organizations within the legal profession.
